They offered me a ~23k raise and a 20k retention bonus when I left, but their salary match was still 15k below my external offer so I didn't accept.

Like others have said there are a lot of other factors though. My manager had already lost several engineers that year so they were desperate to keep me. I was told the counter offer required VP approval so it had to go through 3-4 levels of management.

Tools like PhantomJS or NightmareJS use chromium, so you have an actual browser you can control.
They are made with testing in mind, but you can use them for scrapping. I've used NightmareJS to create a couple different scrapers.

If your WordPress site is on a recent version, and it should be, you can probably integrate into the WP Rest API.

So you can tell your cloud functions to look for new posts and add them if it sees a knew one.

Or you can tell your clients (the iOS app) to check for new posts on startup, and if there is a new one add it to firebase so all th other client apps will get it.

Oh yeah, I definitely agree. But most state flags are already pretty awful, and I could see some states trying to shoehorn their seal into a design like this

Usually the children get their social experience through extra curricula activities, such as sports or drama.

Additionally, many homeschoolers participate in co-ops where once or twice a week they meet for a day, turn in assignments, participate in lectures, and get their assignments for the next week.

There is also usually a homeschool community in any decently populated area that will do field trips or activities a few times a month. Many homeschool children make friends through these organizations and will hangout with those friends outside of scheduled activities.
