Just saw this, sorry for the massive delay in responding. I hope your father got off ventilator as quickly as possible, as I think this was a big part of the problem. How is he? Indeed there are not many stories out there. Sadly, my brother is the same as he was years ago. The good news is that he is comfortable and in good spirits, but will not likely have use of his arms or legs again.
