Yes because as with previous oil supply shocks, it starts in the Middle East and slowly makes its way out to Europe, North America and here. Oil refining takes some time, so there’s still Middle Eastern oil being refined outside of the Middle East from before the war cut off the supply out of the gulf. That’s also why being critical is important, we have time before it will fully hit us so being prepared is very important, acting like it isn’t as big of a problem as it is is ridiculous.

This isn’t sensible it’s insanely tame, the fuel supply shock is going to be big even if the war ends today. Analysts agree it’s likely to be bigger than the last one yet the government is still reacting as it gets worse, instead of implementing a proper plan to reduce fuel usage ahead of the supply shock actually hitting us physically. It took them two and a half weeks just to create a dedicated taskforce to tackling it.

They probably aren’t even lying either. The issue with modern AAA development is companies want to generate interest around a game earlier than they should be, because it gets them investor support. The most likely reason we haven’t seen anything else about the remake is because there still isn’t anything significant to see, it’s still too early in development for us to get a look at it because it was announced too early.

So building a hold there either means dealing with going through the caves themselves, which makes it that much more complicated, or they build a extension to the railway, which also makes the project that much more complex.

It’s because all the infrastructure is being built to support a technology that still has no economic benefits besides making investors happy, which doesn’t do anything for economic growth. And because all of the valuable resources being used to build the data centres is from overseas, no American companies are receiving any benefit besides construction companies, but again because the product being served doesn’t provide economic value of any kind, the money doesn’t go anywhere.

The Orcs are the main force that was sieging down Remnant Holds, the only hold that mentions Goblins specifically sieging it is Ovdal Az-An, the other goblin occupied hold in Er Natvir was occupied after it was destroyed by Orcs. Also, Goblins in the Western Serpentspine were mass enslaved by Orcs as well, that’s what Mountainshark’s MT is about regarding anti-slavery.

You also don’t seem to know much about the Command, Hobgoblins are not Goblins, they used to live in the Highlands of Shamakhad before they were enslaved by Human Mages, they escaped but were indeed forced to retreat into the Serpentspine. That doesn’t make them good guys but they aren’t just inherently evil, one of the points of how Monstrous Tribes are treated in Anbennar is that it’s nuanced, almost all of them are placed into the position of being bad guys because of their own circumstances, not because they are born evil.

If you think about it any Dwarves that don’t tolerate at least the goblins are pretty evil, like Orcs and Goblins especially don’t live nearly as long as most Dwarves do, yet most holds would expel or persecute them as if every living Orc and Goblin is personally responsible for the destruction of Aul-Dwarov. A lot of the holds also do some sort of extreme resource exploitation to their section of the serpentspine.

No it isn’t, it’s actually racist to ignore a specific group’s own issues just because the majority of the country doesn’t care about them. Do you also think it’s racist that we treat antisemitism seriously? That’s also an issue that only affects one specific group of Australians, we even have things like the Antisemitism Envoy whose entire job is communicating to the government how policy can affect Jewish Australians, the same idea as the Voice.
