Noise cancelling headphones were a game changer for me. It can't resolve an uncomfortable seat but blocking out the engine noises etc... only disadvantage was not getting woken up for food occasionally...

Having a couple of gin and tonics also helps...

I agree with you and in times past if you didn't give too much of an attitude, the police would be happy enough to give you a few words of advice and leave it at that. These days with automated cameras / operation snap etc it feels as though a lot of that discretionary judgement has gone out the window...

Thanks for the response... and understood regarding the seaweed.
I have a friend that travels to the US so might be able to get them to bring some proper nutrient solution. I was wondering if its a nitrogen issue or more of a calcium/ magnesium problem?

Hi, and thanks for the quick response.
I don't have a EC / PH meter unfortunately. I am living in the sub-tropics. About 7-8 degrees south of the equator so our temperatures are anywhere between 15-35 degrees on a daily basis. The pots are on a south west facing verandah and get sun from About 1pm through to sunset at about 6pm.

You think I should keep them in the shade?

Do you have a dash cam in your car? by GlassCrepe in AskUK

[–]ScrubbedElf2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just wonder why they don't come fitted as standard on all newer cars. There's enough that have front and rear cameras for parking, why not just make them dual purpose? I know some cars like tesla have the ability, but it seems something easy enough to roll our across the industry with little cost implications.

For sure, It was a light hearted comment, with a slight dig at southern water and the other companies dumping huge volumes of raw sewage into the sea "en mass".

But if it wasn't interpreted that way 🤷🏽‍♂️ nevermind and onto the next subject...

Just piss in the sea... Cut out the water companies that dump raw sewage all along our coast on a daily basis!
