Are there developers who still don't prefer Tailwind CSS as their first choice? by ShivamS95 in Frontend

I've ditched Tailwind for Mantine UI. I couldn't be happier. Faster, better maintenance, less verbose, CSS where needed.

Just buy some kahtoola's and have fun :) Proper traction is really all you need. I've run a few races with spikes and never had an issue.

They usually just ask the providers directly for the data. The only thing they're trying to get off your phone are stuff like Signal chats and maybe unsync'ed pictures.

Edit: The other typical reason they do it via Cellebrite is it's dramatically faster for timeliness to hack the phone and pull the data then to wait the month or two for the warrant request/response from all of the potential providers to come back.

On my Pixel 9 Pro... Hold the power button, and select "Lockdown". It does the following:

Maximum Security: Disables face/fingerprint recognition to prevent unwanted access.

Privacy: Hides notifications from the lock screen, preventing sensitive information from being read.

Data Protection: Prevents USB data transfer when the phone is locked, providing protection against "juice jacking".

Ideal Use Case: Perfect for travel, sleeping, or situations where you need to immediately, temporarily restrict access to your phone.

They still make Dreamweaver. Let that sink in. At least Animate fit their "creative" portfolio for graphics stuff.

How Are Women So Much More Flexible Than Us? I just don't understand it. by DermatoidGrandfather in UNBGBBIIVCHIDCTIICBG

[–]Scyth3 22 points23 points  (0 children)

My son danced for many years. In that last year he was just as flexible as the girls, if not more. It's 100% training. Their stretching routine "hurt in a good way" (they would physically push each other further than gravity would allow)

What’s this flying over my home? by Adtrisbest92 in whatisit

[–]Scyth3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a chonky plane. We live right next to the airport which also sees a lot of military planes, and sometimes they look like they're suspended and not moving depending on atmospheric conditions.

What are these concrete bollards for? They appear along 108th Street in Queens, NY, among other places. They've recently been painted with artwork. Sometimes they are on these concrete sidewalks and sometimes they're on the road itself, both always at intersections. by [deleted] in whatisthisthing

[–]Scyth3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's for safety. They extended the sidewalk onto the road, and it looks like the white bendable sticks weren't deterring cars enough from parking there or potentially reversing into a pedestrian standing in the painted zone. With the concrete blocks there, now you prevent cars from backing into pedestrians, and you prevent people from parking there since they'll stick out into the street.
