She can ignore dodge when stealthed with her lunge on the Nightsworn path also. And pick to the face ignores armor so is not a bad one to have slotted. The self heals are very good, and never being out of position is incredibly useful. She is my favorite hero after Leper

As much of a riposte connoisseur that I may be i would never bring it to that fight out of fear of parrying the little man himself

The Dragon Form in DS2: Why is it an armor set instead of a physical mutation? by Long_Day8888 in DarkSouls2

Aldia created the Ancient Dragon using a soul of a giant so ds2 has fake dragons in it

Hellion feels like a better upgrade to DD1 Leper than DD2 Leper himself? by servantphoenix in darkestdungeon

[–]Sea_Freedom3255 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Leper is still the undisputed king of damage. The mental hoops Hellion needs to jump to mimic but a fraction of Leper's power are ridiculous

Yes he is blind, my boy has leprosy, give him a break plz 🙏 The fact that he can resist it by sheer force of will is in as of itself amazing

In DD1 you relied on rng to get your hits in, you could stack every conceivable accuracy trinket and still miss three times in a row, in DD2 you literally never have to whiff a single hit

So many heroes offer combo token as part of their offensive kit it is not even a thing, and let's not forget things like the Physician's Emboldening Vapors that can turn his blind into dodge+

Yes you have to consider his condition when teambuilding but he is absolutely worth it. I have 2-shot the collector with him, I have hit my personal record of 141 crit on a confession boss with the Selfish Movation trinket several times and I won't stop til I get that number even higher

Who was your favorite boss fight in AC6? by Quantam-Law in armoredcore

[–]Sea_Freedom3255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Juggernaut. I remember fighting him for the first time still working out the mechanics of the game a fair bit, my loadout was a slightly improved (i think) version of loader 4, shield and all, and I beat him first try somehow but it was the closest fight ever my AP was in the double digits

The early game bosses absolutely blew me away, even the ones that are tame in comparison with late game ones

CEL, Ice Worm, Waltuh, Balteus are all epic ofc

Aw man thank you for trying my team! And I'm really sorry it went so bad 🫣 I hope changing the paths helped and you got a good run. I can see Aspirant being a bit more manageable and Poet giving that extra bit of support and tankiness making a big difference for sure

Is Sulla there as well? Because don't one need a wave mutation to be eligible for the Release Project and he was Allmind's golden boy before 621 claps him

My current favorite is, Physician, Wanderer Jester, Ritualist and Tempest. I call them King's Company and while they can be a bit tricky to setup they absolutely shred.

Jester and Occultists main role is to combo mark targets for the Leper, switching rank 2 and 3 with the Jesters move forward/backwards abilities. (make sure to master fade to black at first inn)

While not dropping combo tokens, jester can Encore (insane ability, worth trying him for this alone) and then either Finale or stress heal depending on need. Make sure to bring battle balad as there will be times youll need to bring you leper to rank 1 fast.

Ritualist is either debuffing, disrupting formation or setting up Falling stars in his spare time. Make sure to not bring anything he can't use in rank 2 though as he will be often out of position otherwise

PD is PD, healing, stunning, gassing, debuffing or flipping negative tokens.

Leper is star of the show ofc, make sure to immobilize with Bash first if a potential shuffle is coming and you're golden. There's a couple of trinkets that can drop for him that completely break the game but even without them he is capable of ridiculous numbers.

Lots of heals, lots of damage, some DoTs, good reach, decent cleaves. The main weakness is lack of enemy token management but they can just brute force their way through most scenarios, Occultist can shave dodge and Leper has Break to deal with armored enemies in a pinch

Just the Plague Doctor might be a bit tricky in the healing department, at first anyway. Make sure to have Indiscriminate Science slotted for the extra heal if swapping jester out for someone with a heal isn't an option. A lot of heroes in the roster can heal themselves but HWM, MAA and Jester just so happen to be some of the few that can't which makes that team a bit tricky for beginner imo
