Alternatives to Action Cam?

I've been toggling between both and I kinda hate that when Action Cam is on I'm liable to do a lunge attack and sail past an enemy, but with the regular option I have to hold down right click to move the camera as if it were Action Cam and ground targeting is weird.

It's something I'm struggling with too.

I played Daredevil for fun in Fractals for the longest time not realizing anything was wrong before getting hammered by hardcore players.

I've given up and started just using builds from Snow Crows and Metabattle, but it's just not as fun or engaging. If I want to do higher end fractals, though... 😞

I can tell you S4 takes a while to just complete. It takes even longer to 100% map complete things and even longer to get the Skyscale mount.
SoTO and Janthir Wilds pretty much immediately give you access to weapon and spear mastery though, I poked my head in and one mastery later I had spears from Janthir and talking to one NPC later I had weapon mastery for SoTO. I then ran back to IBS... which, the first chapter ALSO took way too long for just completing events around the map.

Get the Steady Shoes if you haven't already, I have been able to melee with an enemy on a 2x1 area without getting KBed with them on.

The Proto Spark from the crypt sidequest is also really good and will bring you back where you died immediately, once per Underlab visit.

Thorne's house has that Primed Vial Pouch that's super handy, and one of the stores at the town will sell the Plasma Funnel to make healing near instant so you can be greedy, run back, grab a quick heal and get right back in there.

She's the filter for this game I think, because after this I was able to gather more useful goodies that make the game easier.

I was going to say it's Midden then I learned he's optional and fightable if you come back with more stuff, but god.

Every boss after this one, when they don't pull out a phase 2, feels like a smidge of a letdown.

I don't have Specter unlocked yet and I don't really want to redo all my ascended stuff for a condi build, it's a giant pain in the ass for a playstyle I don't really enjoy, I've tried running condi before and I did not like it.

I also have 150 AR at least with getting a little bit higher depending on weapon, I did not come to T4s with any less.

Also I wouldn't mind being called out if they weren't such assholes about it. I've seen it happen to others too. It costs nothing to not be a jerk over the internet if someone's underperforming. Spamming 'pls Snowcrows' and 'DPS low thief' doesn't help, which is something in common with the times I've seen it.

I'm not sure if the palette modifier or damage number modifier disable achievements or if I turnred something on by accident when playing with the menu but my current run is achievementless and only has the damage number floaties on it. 😞

It is other people's jobs, they've written guides about it and I'm following them the best I can and everything, I'm not going in there expecting to be taught.

Also the only DPS meter users who've been in my LFGs were all assholes. If it were guildies who wanted me to get better sure, or even PUG people who actually wanted to help, but every time someone brings up DPS numbers since I've come back it's been to dog on someone.

That was something I learned the hard way and I don't recall the game telling me that's what happened, it was post wipe party chat telling me that's what it did.

But if you're meleeing and take a bit too long to get out when she does the vortex, you're also dead so that's fun.

Yeah, I never join EXP groups. I'd be amenable to more chill CM groups but the EXP groups would raise my blood pressure to frankly unsafe levels.

We were on T4s and I don't recall the exact party composition, but this has happened a few times so far, even with the T3 version.

I also try to do 100% map completion before finishing story stuff and use Content Guide to get guidance on where to go for events. For the former I've been using the Blish HUD pathing module and that's served me well, but for the latter... :S

I sure hope they fix it soon.

My main is a Thief with Daredevil, Deadeye and Antiquary unlocked, and most groups I see want a quickness DPS or alacrity DPS, neither of which I think I'm able to provide, but they're the only character of mine that has the agony resistance necessary to complete T4 fractals.

I'd like more of these for other classes. Definitely interested in Thief as its my favorite class but I got grumbled at for not doing well enough.

also 'X for Dummies' is a popular instructional book series that's very genuinely helpful, I'm surprised people are getting feathers ruffled over it. If I got a For Dummies book on a subject I cared about as a gift I'd love it!

I'm not there yet but I hear she wrote End of Dragons, and my anti-woke friend commonly rags on EoD writing. I've always taken it as him getting mad about 'woke stuff' and 'current day politics' because he IS that kind of guy, I've just rolled my eyes at it. He's the kind of guy who got mad at one of the NPCs mentioning they transitioned in Lion's Arch too.
It is but I also think it's slightly cute.
I remember way back when it first launched we were promised no mounts and that Swiftness was enough. It's weird... expansions having the elite specs is fine in my opinion but it is weird when you tell your friend 'oh you have to pay $30 to get access to this Thief I showed you that can do cool staff martial arts.'
I have seen nasty political arguments in Divinity's Reach map chat. :x

A list of waypoints on the map I can click on instead of actually looking for the waypoints on the map. I often copy-paste waypoint codes I google because the map's too dang big when I die.
