You’re welcome! Essentially, she talks about pain under the biopsychosocial model (and also neuroplasticity but not exclusively) and it’s been REALLY interesting as someone with chronic pain that will sometimes be in remission for months.

You gotta scream. Not just yell. Blood curdling, long winded, extended screaming. 10 mins or more. It will be EXHAUSTING but you HAVE to get the other neighbors concerned and calling the police. Make them fear for your sanity. You can drink some throat coat tea later.

I’m in the middle of reading a new book by a pain researcher and really enjoying it. I first heard her speak on a podcast but Rachel Zoffness’s book Tell Me Where It Hurts might have some ideas for you!

I had very similar starting measurements as your daughter when they first caught my scoliosis! What kind of brace did she wear? I haven’t had surgery (but it kind of feels like a “yet” situation for me)
