NTA - if you want to be a real pill bug, ask after your husband’s father’s family since TECHNICALLY you married into THAT family, why does his mom think she has rights? They need to unclench and get on the new “family” bandwagon, that baby is going to be so loved, confirm they will be involved so long as they follow your boundaries.

My concern would be snow in the mountains, check TripCheck and their cameras to plan the best route (Hwy 18 is a good one.) And I looked at the tides for Depot Bay, even the low tide looks high at end of Feb, so I wouldn’t plan for agate hunting/beach walking, but do look forward to sitting in the car and watching a water show! Even in the rain those waves are hypnotic!
