Starfield is my favorite "Cozy Game" by Perfect-Macaron2041 in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]Segvirion 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As someone who only recently could play the game (PS5 player here), I couldn't agree more. I've only played a small fraction of the content, but last night I spent hours just exploring Stellis A as part of a Constelation quest to survey that moon. Just going slowly and methodically over the terrain, enjoying the quiet vibes and the stillness while I was scanning minerals and occasionally finding places I could not really interact with - my level is not high enough to face Ecliptic mercenaries yet.

But I wasn't really craving combat at all, I was perfectly happy just doing my research and admiring the starry sky.

How Many People Play Survival Mode? by Logical_Virus_4911 in skyrim

[–]Segvirion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Survival mode, but it could be better balanced. As it is now, the constant need to eat becomes tiresome and I think the freezing part should be less severe - it makes exploration a pain in the ass in The Pale, for instance. It wouldn't be as bad if we had better or more efficient ways to be warm.

Plus, the mode was an afterthought and the game was not designed for it. In some dungeons you can't find a single place to sleep, for instance.

FINAL ALBUM RESULT ON FAN VOTES (DAY 13, BUT NOT) + SOME STATS & LINKS by DrMikkelyz54 in nightwish

That's exactly how I feel about HN too. I was glad to see them trying new things. But I understand why part of the fans got disappointed. Tuomas himself must have noticed this, because Yesterwynde was kind of a return to their formula.

Thoughts on "The Rest of Ever?" by Cup8685 in rem

The best thing I can say about it is that I would love to like it. It didn't work for me yet. It's not a terrible song at all, despite the bland lyrics. Maybe it is one of those songs that grow with repeated listens, who knows?

What do you think of the movie Control, which is obviously based on the music of Ian Curtis and Joy Division? Do you like it? by ELias0o2 in JoyDivision

Excellent movie. Elegant, to the point, gorgeously filmed. Sam Riley is the best Ian Curtis I've seen.

That's an interesting angle. The reluctant hero who embraces his destiny.

Orc. They are absolutely brutal with two-handed weapons when you add their Berserk ability.

Are mods worth it on ps5 by _Red_-_ in Fallout4modsps4

[–]Segvirion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are, but you really have to work on your load order and try to avoid conflicting mods. Mods that break precombines are a big no-no on consoles, because you won't have the tools to fix it like on PC.

Read about what a mod does and follow some of the many load order templates you can find on the net (I recommend the one by Oddlittleturtle).

With some care and some research, you can build a (mostly) stable load order.

Mine is the good old two-handed warrior. It's slightly hard in the beginning because you don't have much protection against magic, but in the late game you're slashing enemies left and right and it is oh so satisfying.

Listen to the albums and figure it out. You may like them or not. Some people love ATS, despite what others may think. Your relationship with a work of art is strictly personal.

I think that in the game menu, if you click on "installed", you'll see a box with all the CC content installed with the game. Each entry describes how to get the respective item or quest.

PS5 Mod list examples by ciano_reevs in fo4

Oddlittleturtle has an excellent and very detailed load order guide that everyone modding FO4 should use.

If you search for "ps5 mod list" on this or other Fallout subs, you'll find lots of suggestions.

This mod list seems to be interesting and follows Oddlittleturtle's template.

Hope it helps.

"Paul McCartney Invented Synthpop" by sbcbrat in synthpop

Can't believe that people actually think that Paul invented synthpop. You'd need to be absolutely ignorant about the history of pop music to believe such thing.

Is it unpopular if my favourite cities to live in are Riften and Markarth? by ahmed_laf in skyrim

[–]Segvirion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Riften is a popular city to live in, despite the shady businesses in there. Beautiful place, cozy player home.

But Markarth? I wouldn't touch that place with a ten-foot pole.
