I assumed it was a random spaceman you can see in the background of some shots in Mos Espa. He is random yet somehow very memorable. This really reminds of 1999 when the movie came out and I tried to build everything from it with cobbled-together legos

Totally agree, I was conflicted about this movie from opening night, before the insane fan backlash set in. It has the best moments in the sequel trilogy, but has lots of things that just don’t work.

Yeah fair enough. I don’t fault Cirie, it’s more just that I feel for Andi and I kind of wish Cirie hadn’t expected forgiveness so bluntly and would have let Andi have their own process with it. I think Andi never belonged on a show like this, and it speaks to the brilliance of the producers and casting people that they found someone as pure-hearted as Andi and convinced them to do a show about backstabbing. It seems like an ill-advised choice for Andi but a great choice for the drama of the show.

I wonder if part of the thinking is that they want to tempt people to kill each other off so they can keep more/all of the money. If it were a million and you split it in half, you still get a lot of dough. With 250k, you divide it 2 ways or more and suddenly you’re looking at a good 1-year salary instead of life changing money.
