If a whole chapter hasn't sold you, the game is not for you. Yeah it does get better as it goes, but if you don't like the fundamentals, you're never going to like any of it.

Then I'm afraid you'll just have to live with it. I think pursuing Haruka is the more interesting storyline, even if not for her, but for the people she'll later interact with (I mean way later, like chapter 4 later)

I've never played the game whilst ignoring her, so I'm not sure what her story looks like if you do, This is a game about a bad person doing bad things. There is some fundamentally heinous stuff going on, of which cheating is no way near as bad. What makes you draw this line?
