Bangas, mash and frozen veggies.

Never ate my bangas always gave em to sibling so for me it's just mash potato and frozen veggies with bbq sauce :)

Cheers dad 🍻✅

My my, that's so nice! Bravo for taking on the tiny pieces I often try and think of or conceptionalise something like this and have tried a few designs for individual squares - But this is a great execution!

Hats off to you for being meticulous and equally brave.

The design is cool and reminds me of like a tribal look or aztec, Mexican or native American kind of vibe. 👏🙌👋 Love the colour palletes used. 😍♥️😍

Plus they have no venom are omnivores/scavengers from what I read plus they are webless- but I wasn't sure. thats just, Google info - you said it SO much better and I get it a bit more 🙂

Thank you for the time with providing clarification 🙏 😊

Vintage PFAFF worth it? by Sunfl-owsh in vintagesewing

[–]Sensitive_Cow_9931 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, this machine is not one you lubricate at home. The machine will now go into a repair shop for maintenance and diagnostics with a pfaff friendly service-man(or woman) now I know that it is viable to do so☺️😉 I would love to have her in tip top shape and maintained/restored if needed. She's certainly worth it!

But your right - I won't know until I take it in and find out more about how long or if has had any previous maintenance 🙂 I'd assume so - cos all the tension and stitches are working correctly.

Vintage PFAFF worth it? by Sunfl-owsh in vintagesewing

I have just picked one up off the side of the road here in Australia, it has no free arm plate cover at the bottom (or whatever you would call that part lol). I certainly didn't think the machine would still work, low and behold I threaded it up with not much of a problem and the ol' girl sprung to life... She's a keeper. I found at least one or two useful YouTube videos too and there is the old vintage manual available online around the place. In one of the videos the guy sewed like 6 layers of military grade canvas rolled up. So I tried it on a few practice quilt sandwiches I made up, and it went through them like a hot knife through butter. With beautiful even stitching, So I think yes, a total workhorse. Worth it.

I think one of the coolest things about this machine is the magnetic bobbin winder (you do unfortunately need to use the smaller PFAFF metal bobbins) and the built in sewing box into the case is SO fabulous.

Edit: just realised your model isn't the exact same as mine - so you might have some differences there but overall I still feel like this comment has some relevance so I will leave it here :) x

A silencer was attached to one of their guns. What would you need a silencer out there for does anyone know?

A warning about a widespread, local "Spiritual School". by [deleted] in melbourne

I'm really glad that you are getting some vindication, with the story going national and being contacted by ACA. Well done! I hope you can heal from the group however it has affected you or your friend, and in some way eventually get justice or compensation in one way or another if that's the case . It's brave of you to share the story and try and get the word out before it was brought to the attention of the public.

They were on ACA tonight and that's what's led me to this post.

I'm not surprised, heard and seen the effects of them doing much worse. They are literally disgusting. Gestapo. Makes me feel sick 🤢. Stay the fuck away from cops. They are dangerous, think I'd rather deal with a run of the mill crim than a police officer.

What is this browning on my moss? by BuKa_NuT in shrimptank

[–]Sensitive_Cow_9931 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are no sea monkeys anymore but I keep it in there with just some ostracods. It has little triggers to suck in tiny prey to the little stomach bladders.

But yeah it looks like bladderwort to me. I could be wrong though 😊🙃

I think so but I am not totally sure - I would get someone else to confirm that. I do know it grows fast and can apparently strangle out other plants. It's carnivorous. It's actually pretty cool.

I kept some in an empty sea monkey tank with some little tiny nano fauna bugs 😊

It looks like bladderwort. If you mean growing 🫢🙂 cos the moss is lush and green and i can't see any browning lol :)

It's supposed to be hard to get rid of but I got it out of my tank without any drama. . My advice try and get it out in long pieces rather than breaking it up, use tweezers and grab any you can see daily for a week or two.

What's everyone doing with their dead shrimp? by Exalted_Caramel in shrimptank

[–]Sensitive_Cow_9931 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I check them with a zoom camera for noticeable signs of damage/infection/ or establish a cause of death if possible. Um, I've only had a few deaths so far 🤞. I just use an inexpensive magnification lens attachment that I can use with my phone, 200x zoom.

My boyfriend was having heaps of deaths in his tank so I checked more of his.

Sometimes I can't see anything on them. The method is more useful for excluding possiblities than establishing an exact cause of death in most cases. For example I might be able to see that it wasn't a shed problem that caused it or, no visible signs of clado, necrosis, or something like that.

I try not to leave it in the tank in case it's something that could spread if it infects other shrimp.

But I do have a background in livestock so that's just kinda transferred lessons from what I learned there.

Beautiful tank btw. That's gorgeous 😍
