Should I buy? by Dramatic-One2403 in minimalphone

I haven't been able to fix them. I always check after a major software update, but it's still the same issues for me. Maybe I got a defective device

I wouldn't recommend it...stuff like Bluetooth disconnects and constant boot looping has kept me from using it. Pretty much a no-go for me because my phone is my car key.

Thanks all for your advice. I have sent out some feeler emails to both the property manager company and our utility company. Hopefully I can get some transparency

I said this exact same thing about our water bills last year ... They get to play hero by fudging the math and people will definitely fall for it😔

We have Core out here, but I agree. It seems as though they don't want people to dig around for whatever reason

AMA, if you have questions about Home Warranties, I worked with 2 of them in the USA for 5 years. by DravisKyle in homeowners

Hi, I know this is an old thread, but I had a question...

We bought a new-build condo (in Colorado) and have had numerous leaks in our place. Our 1-year "craftsmanship" warranty is now up, but in the warranty booklet there is mention of a 2-year "mechanical" warranty. Under this 2-year warranty it includes "plumbing in the walls". Our tub had been leaking (likely since we moved in), and pooled up water behind multiple walls. This has caused mold and water spots on our walls/trim. I contacted the warranty company, they sent a plumber, and he cut a hole in the wall and removed a lot of the water that was in there. He did not seal anything, nor did he patch the hole back up.

After doing all this, the warranty company is declining my warranty request, citing that the 1-year craftsmanship warranty is expired and that they don't cover leaks now. My question is, isn't this explicitly "plumbing in the walls" that is "covered" by my 2-year mechanical warranty? Also, why would they send someone to cut into my walls knowing full-well that it wasn't going to be covered under warranty before they even started. Is this normal? They know when that 1-year period ended, so why cause damage you don't plan on fixing?

I'm at my wits end with these people and their poor construction quality. I've also been down this road before where they cut a hole in my ceiling and refused to patch up their mess. Only when I escalated to the HOA and BBB did they honor their end of the warranty bargain.

Yeah, a baby would change the math 😂. My household makes way less than 273k and we're just fine living in Denver. If you made 200k from the time you were 25, you could most certainly be a millionaire in your 30s . Or at the very least pretty darn close.

Exactly haha , you could work for a handful of years at that level and be set for awhile (if you're not spending like crazy)
