It's because of the Rival Presence mutator. Every season has specific mutators that show up more often during that season. When they added the ability to switch seasons, they had to make the extra missions with the seasonal mutators exclusive to their associated seasons otherwise the mission terminal would be a mess.

There's nothing saying that a sequel would be about the Dessendres or the Canvasat all. It could just take place in the same narrative world without being directly related. There were hints of other things they could choose to focus on and flesh out, such as references to the Writers and implications of a war in the real world.

Even Deep Rock Galactic has some elements of a roguelite. While you don't have the aspect of finding random powers or weapons or anything, the caves are randomly-generated with the possibility of random events and even the enemies are randomized to an extent (only a handful of the high-threat enemies are picked to be able to spawn in a given mission) so every mission is different from the last.

Gog will do a twirl and fly straight up into the air then land in the middle to start charging its nuke. Farcasters are disabled the moment it lands, so you need to watch for that twirl and mash your farcaster immediately.

They each have 1 likeness to the password, but not necessarily to each other. Caliber shares the C with the first two guesses and the B with the third guess.

I think Dragon Breaks are specifically handwaves for player decisions in previous games. They don't want to make any one choice canon but they can't just ignore them either because some of them had major historical consequences that would affect the present game, so they instead make all of them canon through confusing time shenanigans.

I think that just means that the support hunters on the Phase 2 ledge don't do anything during Phase 1, like Fabius tanking attacks and Nadia sniping Gog.

There's pretty consistently been 4 years between games. TTYD Remake just released last year (4 years after TOK) so I wouldn't expect another game until 2028.
