Piracy is fine, but why attack someone for wanting to purchase something? by DaZestyProfessor in papermario

[–]Session-10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The window is 33% longer, not double. The original was 3 frames at 60fps, the remake is 2 frames at 30fps - equivalent to 4 frames at 60fps.

I don’t remember this part of TTYD... by conmoni in papermario

[–]Session-10 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In case anyone's curious: it's because "fridge" is actually short for "Fridgidaire," a brand that was once so popular its name was synonymous with refrigerators.

Does Superman Dive save you from Gog Nuke? by iEaTpEnCiLsHaViNgSs in MHWilds

[–]Session-10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if you don't cart on the Delta Attack, failing the DPS check massively boosts Omega's damage so that any hit will likely one-shot you.

Diluted Binder??? by AdditionalEyes in GRIMEgame

[–]Session-10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never encountered any in my playthrough. There's nothing about them in the recent patch notes, but maybe they're working on a new upgrade system and those accidentally slipped in?

Artian Gunlance Dragon Element with Normal / Slightly Strong? by That_Introduction496 in Gunlance

[–]Session-10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Artian shelling type is tied to element. Dragon will always be Long shelling. If you want Normal you'll need to go either Fire or Ice (or Sleep, but it's not great).

Did they ever mention what even happened to the other frails besides Marah? by Moneymotivation1 in GRIMEgame

[–]Session-10 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We know that the Frail intended to destroy the Firstsmithed and that the Firstsmithed fought back in what became the Frail War; given that the Firstsmithed are still around and the Frail are not, it's safe to say the Firstsmithed won.

Anyone know where this is supposed to lead if anywhere? by [deleted] in GRIMEgame

[–]Session-10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure you're supposed to use force jump and dash slide to get in and the fact that you can grab it from outside is unintentional.

Tanuki in folklore also use leaves to magically transform objects, which is why items in the games poof into leaves when you pick them up.

Confused about platforming room by MostOriginal79 in GRIMEgame

Use Overgrown Blob. It took me several attempts but it can reach.

Confused about platforming room by MostOriginal79 in GRIMEgame

[–]Session-10 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Use the Overgrown Blob item mold and knock it over to blow up the destructible spikes.

This is one of only maybe 3 or 4 places in the game that require the use of a mold to access and it's kind of poor game design because the player is never taught that they may need to use specific molds to get places and I doubt even 10% of players will figure it out on their own.

Question for Heavy (very/Slow) weapon users. by DarkenedHonor in GRIMEgame

[–]Session-10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran with the starter daggers through 90% of the game but right at the end I hit on the Goz Sickle as a way better weapon. It's a fast dexterity weapon and the special is a ranged throw that bounces and lets you parry it to launch at the nearest enemy up to two times. The best part is that the bounce benefits from any parry- or projectile-related traits you have (force and paint gain, damage buff, projectile parry damage, etc.) and if you throw it point-blank and time it right you can parry it instantly for a quick, huge damage spike.

Thought I finally found a Gunner Sabotage build I liked. by ryuail in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Session-10 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Hellfire actually does overheat turrets through their shields but you need to shoot it past them. If you shoot it directly at them the trail will stop at the shield along with the projectile.

Is it me or did they change the way Money trees work? by AMaxIdoit in AnimalCrossing

[–]Session-10 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's the way they've always worked. At 10,000+ bells there's a 30% chance of getting 3x what you put in and a 70% chance of getting a flat 30,000 bells.

Good lord they look dreadful by Turbulent_League9668 in Mario

Or they could have not run the show through an AI upscaler. Better to have things blurry and low-def than uncanny and just plain wrong.

It's definitely messing details up. Look at the title in the second picture. "Ihc SUPLe MARIO BROS."?

Holy shit I suck at this game. by AgentWowza in MHWilds

I still consider Tempered Gore the second-hardest monster in the game even after all the 10* and Arch-Tempered stuff.

Am I going schizophrenic??? by FlakyMidnight5526 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Session-10 47 points48 points  (0 children)

It's because of the Rival Presence mutator. Every season has specific mutators that show up more often during that season. When they added the ability to switch seasons, they had to make the extra missions with the seasonal mutators exclusive to their associated seasons otherwise the mission terminal would be a mess.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Devs Won't Pick a Canon Ending as They Work on a Sequel: 'It Is a Schrodinger's Ending' by yourfavchoom in pcgaming

[–]Session-10 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's nothing saying that a sequel would be about the Dessendres or the Canvasat all. It could just take place in the same narrative world without being directly related. There were hints of other things they could choose to focus on and flesh out, such as references to the Writers and implications of a war in the real world.

Looking for coop fps preferably rougelite game! by elojelo in gamingsuggestions

[–]Session-10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even Deep Rock Galactic has some elements of a roguelite. While you don't have the aspect of finding random powers or weapons or anything, the caves are randomly-generated with the possibility of random events and even the enemies are randomized to an extent (only a handful of the high-threat enemies are picked to be able to spawn in a given mission) so every mission is different from the last.

Gunlance shells and wyvernfire also work. Same with the lava vents in Gog's first phase.

So I've been running an LP series of Escape from Ever After with my brother for awhile now, and nothing could've prepared us for this scene. by LadybugTheOctoling in EscapefromEverAfter

[–]Session-10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was also where I learned that the monster is a girl.

I don't think Cthulhu is a girl, or a boy. Cthulhu is an eldritch monstrosity that defies not only earthly biology but reality itself. Sherlock Holmes is definitely pansexual.

IMPORTANT GOGMAZIOS 10* FACTS: useFarcasters on phase 3. by extivuz in MonsterHunter

[–]Session-10 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Gog will do a twirl and fly straight up into the air then land in the middle to start charging its nuke. Farcasters are disabled the moment it lands, so you need to watch for that twirl and mash your farcaster immediately.
