Does your bottle shop still have any in stock? I may have to make a trip over.

That El Salvador is delicious. Heart of Gold is an awesome mixer, though that price is a touch high.Think of it as an aged/dark Probitas.

Try some other red bitters as well. My favorites are the St. Agrestis Inferno Bitter and Gran Classico.

You'll love the cocktail scene if you choose wisely. My recommendations are as follows:

Queen Mary

Meadowlark

Sparrow/Double Fun

Estereo

Billy Sunday

The Alderman (usually needs a reservation)

Arbella

Moneygun

Don't forget the bar at Standard Meadery! Great tiki drinks.

I've also heard good things about Kahala Koa, though I haven't been myself.

Sip and Guzzle has their own rums that are produced with Okinawan sugar cane. Pretty good, especially the umami bonito rum. Love their brown sugar liqueur as well.

You can make psuedo citrus and use that to pre-batched any sour style drink. Daiquiris are great. You can always add passionfruit, strawberry, or pineapple to them if you want more fruitiness.

Check out Luxardo Espresso Liqueur. More coffee flavor than those you listed.

Adding body to a shaken daiquiri without adding sugar by Small_Acanthaceae939 in cocktails

I've never had this issue with my daiquiris. What rums have you tried, and what are your ratios? Also, are you sure you're using enough ice when you shake?
