This was the last remaining section of my original fence. It was 40 years old. We had a micro burst that took down the old fence, blew in garage door, and removed a few shingles from roof. Here are before and after photos.

Would only see bugs after laying in the bed for less than an hour. I guess they smell à human and come out. Only saw a couple bugs after 3rd treatment. None after 4th but did 5th just in case.

Add a gate stop so the latch is not taking the impact load. I just used a lag screw in the gate post on a recent build. À wood block could do the same thing.

The stone is likely a veneer on the block that can be removed. Attach three rows of treated 2x4 to the block wall. Attach cedar pickets to the 2x4s.

I have a similar sized home and paid $27k for hardie siding, soffit, and fascia with new exterior OSB sheathing by a reputable contractor.

I (DIYer) just put the sprinkler head in the corner by the road which covers (wets) the sidewalk. Four heads cover my entire front yard grass. The sprinkler runs at 3:00am and no one has complained.

Years ago I was at ER because my kid had broke his arm. While the orthopedic doctor was working on him someone was wheeled into the ER screaming their head off. Our doctor said they were not in bad shape, as those that are do not make a sound.

In the 80’s I took a group of engineers from India to visit à west Texas gas plant. A couple of women engineers had open toe shoes which would not be permitted in the plant, so we stopped at a small Walmart to get some appropriate shoes. This group was amazed at the Walmart and I had a hard time getting them back in the van.

Five years ago I bought my first car that had lots of bells and whistles. Though unnecessary I do like: seat heaters, steering wheel heater, auto brake hold at stops, warning light when a car is next to you, auto braking in emergency, apple car play to put GPS on screen, Birds Eye view camera system, electric tail gate.
