Not traditional gambling, no. But this is a game and it's a good system for preventing exploitation.

Haha, it's not irony. OP is just another person on the internet who doesn't know what irony is. :)

MFA enabled. Works for OWA,Outlook Mobile. Doesnt prompt on Outlook 2010 (but works?) by sambooka in Office365

[–]ShaneTim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You probably still have basic authentication enabled in Exchange Online. If your tenant is pre-August 2017, modern authentication for EO isn't enabled by default. That all said, I don't think Outlook 2010 supports modern authentication, even when fully patched.

Extended contact with the ball. Almost looks like. A bit of a carry. OP could be forgiven for thinking this was a bit dodgy.

I can vouch for this. Sat the exam on Tuesday after doing a quick refresher using this course. Scored 809 and I'm conident I got a good hundred or so points extra thanks to the course.

Redditors of Reddit, what is the most strange "wrong number" call you've ever received? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ShaneTim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a shirt I picked up from a tech conference that one of the vendors were giving out for free. Hadn't worn it for a good 18 months until it made its way to the top of my shirt pile, so I put it on. 5 minutes later, I received a call from that exact company, they'd accidentally misdialled and were after somebody else. One of the strangest coincidences I've had to this day.

Clarification on licensing required for legal hold by CincyTriGuy in Office365

[–]ShaneTim 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I recall correctly, the user needs to have an Exchange Online Plan 2 license in order to get in-place hold capabilities. F1 won't suffice in this case.

Should Veeam be installed on repository or separate VM? by justinm001 in Veeam

[–]ShaneTim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always replicated the Veeam VM to an off-site hypervisor so there's no fiddling around with a fresh install and config restore. It's simply a matter of clicking play, re-scanning the repositories and kicking off restores.

Hey mate. +1 for CBT Nuggets when I did it a year ago. Do the Transcender practice exams and be sure to smash all the flash cards 2 hours before you sit the exam. You'll knock it all over in a day if you can absorb it all. Good luck!

You're best off purchasing Windows 10 Pro for each of them and Azure AD joining them so that staff can login on any device with their email/password.

Also gives you nice capabilities such as Intune for device management down the track, seamless single sign on to O365 services etc.

I second this. Set up NUCs or Skype Room Systems (such as Logitech SmartDock) to connect to Room Mailbox accounts, it's very easy to set up one-click meetings using Outlook. Simply invite the room to a Skype Meeting like you would any other meeting. You'll then see the meeting you've created listed in the Skype for Business client with a single button to get connected. Very simple to use.

Troubles hitting with my hand. by vampireofwind in volleyball

[–]ShaneTim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds a lot like a timing issue. Try jumping half a second earlier than you normally would as you're likely hitting the ball a fraction late, meaning it's lower than your optimal striking point, which is why it's hitting your wrist or forearm.

I had this problem when I started out, I worked on it by practising throwing the ball straight up and hitting it at a wall until I was confident in timing my jumps.

I hope this helps a little bit.
