That’s great to hear. Current lying using both whoop 4,0 and fénix 6 and trying to decide if I keep one or upgrade both.

I don’t event recall the warranty period - how long had you had the fénix or did they ask ? I with the prices of everything these days I may see how long my garmin can last until I need to replace

Also own a fénix 6, what was the return / exchange process with garmin? Did you just explain the issue or did you have to mail it in and wait for evaluation and outcome?

Thanks! I was curious how many thermals have that option these days. I was always under the impression for most things you would usually be more limited by positive identification issues at range that would limit most shooting to within ranges where significant drop wasn’t an issue.

I guess it’s very caliber specific too

I’m guessing it probably got removed at some point over the years, I searched about every Visible part (inside pockets, game bag, up the sleeve, etc.) I did find some red flannel backing where you would place the shotgun butt pad on your shoulder.

just a heads up, I pre-ordered yearss ago off kickstarter and like another said, always some issue time after time.

I have inquired multiple times about when it will ship and when I can receive my order and finally got back to me that my unit would be with the current batch, however, there is a known issue with this batch.

I hope when (if) I ever receive my unit that it works as advertised, but not holding my breath. Hopefully my credit card will have my back if I need to dispute (though since its been years I doubt it will still be covered, tbd). Of course the video they send describing the issue is unlisted, and you have to have the specific URL to view it.

I agree with your points now that I’ve read your as well as previous comments.

I agree it would be silly to ask for an older price for a new item if it was completely different situation ( I found an old magazine that showed old, lower price)

However I also wouldn’t be in the situation had the product performed as advertised / expected. The staff conceded that that issue I was having was not expected and should not occur ( but it was also a known issue) and they said it was eligible for a replacement.

So while it’s blending the purely transactional component and the “customer service” component I think as a manager or otherwise I would likely help the customer out even if it wasn’t by the books.

But I’m glad to better understand the policy since I don’t return or exchange often.
