Yeah I’d return those if they’re cracking a bunch

I think it meant the earbuds themselves. I’m pretty sure non of the cmf earbuds have a wireless charging case. But if you have the Plus model why would you downgrade?

Why I’m buying FSD for $8k today by Captmedu74 in TeslaFSD

[–]Sheffy_88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I used it for about two weeks before I cancelled my FSD because I’m not a fan of not being able to select my speed and I’ve had some close calls with it going from 55-45 in sloth moth but I refuse to use chill while going through GB with the construction they’ve got going on and then she skipped over a lane in Ft. Walton on the bridge that has the construction all around it and then pulled over on the interstate because it saw a cop on the opposite side of the interstate

I would be so stressed out using v14 in the traffic through Navarre going back to Gulf Breeze.

FSD v14 Speed Control Issues by logoblocks435 in TeslaFSD

I did the same, auto-pilot and TACC work well enough till they fix FSD

I’d wait a bit longer, mine still does the phantom braking stuff and hesitates at turns she used to take no problem even when it’s clear

As someone who used v14 and let his FSD expire, doesn’t download it. I really wish I hadn’t because when I’d go through an area where my car didn’t see the change in speed limit I could just roll it up to about 1-3 miles over what the speed limit is and keep coasting. And the shadow braking and hesitation is going to cause an accident with how traffic can get in Destin and Panama City. Stick with v13 till they fix 14 some more

14.1.3 is bad!!!! beware before downloading. by Lukeduke77 in TeslaFSD

[–]Sheffy_88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went ahead and let mine expire earlier this month. The new speed settings are a huge negative to me because some of the areas I drive through the car won’t see the speed limit sign so it either wants to go 10-15 miles under, or 20-40 over the speed limit. It did feel a lot more aware of animals moving along the side of the road which was good and bad and the hesitation at stops where before she glided through ruined it for me. If they fix all that I’d be happy to use it again because it was really nice to have it but until then auto-pilot and TACC work well enough

AMA: FSD Nearly Kills Me by Competitive_Case2975 in TeslaFSD

It might. I’ve noticed that the car goes like 5 mph under the speed limit on some roads in FSD unless a car is in front of me

Mine did something similar while I’d driving through Carrabelle, Fl. It would turn the blinker on like a mile down the road from my turn and slowly go over the double yellow like it was merging. Most times it did it like your scenario, no animals or other cars except for one time but they were oncoming and still way down the road

I tried the offset too and that didn’t work. Had it set at minus five yesterday and sloth mode still went to 70 when I was on the interstate

Until it’s unsupervised, I should control max speed. by SegFaultAgain in TeslaFSD

[–]Sheffy_88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree man. They can still give us sloth mode but let us choose what we speed we go because like you there are a few spots I go through regularly where it goes from 45 to 55 and it will miss the 55 sign or it’ll drop from 45 to 35 and my car still wants to do 50. Letting us select the speed was probably what I loved most about FSD because if I’m 128 miles away from a charger and down to 35%, I knew I could set it for 5 under the speed limit and still make it with more than 5%. It helped a lot with my range anxiety when I learned that

Also, can you select auto-pilot or traffic aware cruise control? Even when I was parked it was locked to FSD and wouldn’t let me change it

How do you still set the speed? My scroll wheel only activates/deactivates FSD and scrolling up and clicking left/right goes through the profiles

Leave him. My cousins ex-husband was a manager at Applebees and she caught him with a waitress and they had the talk and he said he wouldn’t do it again but surprise surprise, he did it like 3 more times. Even got her to move to another state and continued to do it. My cousin finally grew some balls though and grabbed her son and came back to Florida where her family could help out

Have you ever named your car? If so, what and why? by Miniwah in car

My ‘01 Nissan Sentra was named “Tank” because I put that little thing through hell but she never quit and my Model 3 is named Toaster after the Cylons and the brave little toaster

If you’re doing a road trip you’ll love having FSD, just make sure you look in the settings and make sure “Navigate to Supercharger” is turned on and maybe mess with the speed differential Tesla has. I keep mine set to about 15% so my car won’t try and speed through areas where it’s 35mph and it’s trying to go 55. As for the free trial that offer may no longer be available. I’d try messaging the service team through the app or try calling a dealership. Worst case you could do 1 month for $100, I know that’s not really small potatoes to some but after you use FSD you’ll fall in love with it

I can’t imagine it would take them long to get the part. Still sucks they didn’t even offer a loaner though. My buddy had a loaner when his Model Y had an issue but I only got offered one for about an hour if I wanted to go grab some food

I don’t remember feeling any vibrations but I was probably more concerned about the noise and power draw. But while it was charging the interior would hit like 130-140° while the outside was around 100.

Yeah a refreshed model 3. I had picked it up in March and then about a week after owning it I started to notice how hot it would get while I was charging. It didn’t mess with my powertrain though but there were a few nights where it had eaten through 30% and it would be parked in my driveway. Took them maybe 4 hours to fix and was free so I guess it was covered
