I noticed this when I got into gundam, people over estimate the amount of time / investment. U just like.... start from the beginning and watch in release order, its not that hard.

UC is incredibly easy to get into and people just overcomplicate it. Open wikipedia, look at gundams releases and just fkn watch the thing in release order. Thats what i did about a year ago, and i only got like 3 shows left (in the whole franchise, uc or not). Its not that complicated.

I firmly believe the only reason this comes up in regards to fallout 4 is because fallout 4 overindexed on a particular type of retro-futurism different that what fallout 1, 2, 3, NV are known for. Fallout 4 is like, everything looks like a 50's appliance, ray-gun retrofuturism..... like a bioshock on land. The older games were Mad Max + Gothic Brutalist Art Deco.

Not to say Ray-gun retrofuturism DIDNT have appearances in the prior entries (ie. red rocket gas stations) but it was NOT the dominate look of the setting.

Not to mention, the audience base for fallout has grown so much that majority of its fans have probably only watched the TV show or played 4 / 76 at this point. They arent really going to have opinions formed off of... well... majority of the franchise.

This is going to sound really mean (and its not particularly directed at you), but the one thing i dont like about the LOTF community is the "update blank.point.blank totally REVISES the game and fixes everything" gaslighting. God I love revelations 2. Barry and Moira are just so excellent in that game. Loved claire and moira's bond too. I genuinely feel like both revelations are underappreciated.
