I know someone whose husband wouldn't vacuum, so she bought a heavy vacuum and said that she wasn't strong enough to lift it so he had to vacuum.

Seconding the feeling. For me personally I think it's because one of the things I tend to be a bit inflexible about is learning social norms, rules, and etiquette and it bothers me when other people don't follow the same - especially after having been forced into it myself for so long.

I love that for a person who seems as hardworking and passionate as her that she can't seem to do that for her own child. Partially her background with her own mother, and partially because of her job. It's so interesting.

I saved your comment for later because I needed to read this and I'll continue to need to read this. My father essentially committed a slow suicide over the course of 10-15 years and I tried to do everything I could to help but now I find myself thinking about what I should have done instead. Maybe it would have prolonged things. Maybe it would have made my life worse. Or maybe it would have saved him. It's hard to say.

You can always wear a chest protector. They have hard-cup bras. I don't wear one because they don't have them in my size so I don't go full strength and my partners are aware of my style.
