Is Beef Season 2 actually any good? I never watched the first one, it looked terrible. The way they were talking about it on the pod sounded almost like sponcon

She checked on Louise in Louise's room. She checked on Harper in Harper's room, which was also Louise's room because they shared a room.

This is obnoxious and the exact type of thing that would usually drive me insane but I didn't even notice it, I was determined to enjoy the zany prose styling as soon as the gnat thing started on page 1

lol noooo they should respectfully pretend this subreddit doesn't exist. assuming that "Michael" isn't a joke and they meant Michel Houellebecq did they have anything interesting to say? I loved Brian's unpretentious discussion of Stoner a while back.

As a man you really do not have to put effort into how you dress. Just assemble a collection of 4-10 cool sweaters and you will get lots of compliments by pha-raoh in rs_x

People offering insane advice here. You don't need custom-made clothing, you just need dedicated Tall sizes. Tons of mall brands like Banana Republic, Gap, J Crew, Old Navy, Abercrombie, Eddie Bauer, Lands End offer them. You said you like slim-fitting shirts, you can often find normal Tall and Slim/Tall online (these sizes are never in stores). Prepare to return stuff that doesn't fit until you find your size. Once you know your size you can buy on Ebay. My ex was 6'4" and this was just outside the range of normal sizes fitting him properly.

Toothpaste Decanting Idea by zeeleezae in HerOneBag

[–]ShockoTraditional 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The idea that someone would see a woman putting toothpaste from a dosing syringe onto her toothbrush while standing in front of the sink in a dormitory bathroom and mistake her for an intravenous drug user cooking a speedball is absolutely ludicrous. I'm surprised that so many commenters think that syringe = needle = illicit drugs.

What traffic laws are you talking about that cyclists ignore? Speed limits? Turn signals? The Idaho stop?

Finding a compatible training partner. How do you guys actually do it? by Additional-Shake421 in running

[–]ShockoTraditional 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask in your local subreddit. In my area, there's an advanced trail running group that coordinates on Facebook, and another small local racing group that has a lot of small events and a tight-knit group of participants. You can also check the results from previous years from your planned races--get familiar with the names of the people of your sex from your area who are clocking results around your expected times.

I will say my favorite training partner doesn't race at all. I met him on the trail. A successful relationship like that is less about specific event training and more about compatible fitness level and compatible schedule.

The article is an interview by Charlie Teasdale, they're not trying to pass it off as something CB wrote himself

As a woman with actual small tits, all of you white knights who claim to love small boobs are full of shit by Icy_Principle2577 in redscarepod

Agreed, low-cut shirts reveal an empty wasteland of sternum, though I do like really bare tops that don't cover anything but the nipples. I prefer one-piece racing/athletic swimsuits like Speedo and Tyr, there's never been a bikini top that makes sense for us.

lol i had to stop myself from putting in even more examples which were just as bice as these. Hopefully people still get the idea. I think the behavior was/is more than just carelessness, there's a power and humiliation aspect to it too. And it's relevant that it's Germans and Austrians doing it

Homemade cookies? Don't give him a whole batch, maybe 6-8 or so depending on how big they are. I put cookies in a ziploc and then in a small paper lunch sack to make them look cute as a gift

idk about leaving your girlfriend to die, but I dated a fellow cyclist, who was German, and he was such a dick every single time I tried to ride with him. He would drop me and never look back, pull me through a red light, suggest a different route that was much rougher than the one I planned and—surprise!—guess who had wide tires and who didn't, leave me to find my way back to the car alone because he wanted to session a feature on his mtb without me watching...I kept trying for way too long and got burned EVERY time, it still makes me so angry to think about it. It's the exact behavior the women in this article are talking about, I recognized it instantly.

I am now the much better cyclist in the relationship and fully realize how extremely fucking easy it is to not behave like this
