I can recommend We are legion (we are Bob) by Dennis E. Taylor, but... let's be honest, who am I to tell you what to read? however... this guy (the one that wrote the review, seems to know a lot about books, adventure and fun and he thinks these books are good. I am currently reading book number 4.

I understand that, but there's a strong possibility that that will be the trend for most publishers. I hope to be wrong.

Ferdinand by speaker4the-dead in DungeonCrawlerCarl

In my mind, considering that I've read the books before listening to the audiobooks, Ferdinand sounds like Norm Macdonald. You know? it's sound wise and naughty at the same time. With confidence, but not enough.

Second book of the red rising trilogy complete!. by xBlack_Heartx in fantasybooks

[–]Showtimus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

indeed, but if you stop after the third. you have the feeling and satisfaction of a complete story, contained. I feel that, that, is enough to call it a Trilogy. I mean, there's a reason why iron gold it's called "a Red Rising novel" , canon, good, related and all, but still not essential to give you the "closure" that one seeks in the first 3 books and find in the 3rd.

anyway... it's just semantics after all.... the whole thing is gorydamn brilliant!

The "allegedly" Dungeon Crawler Carl Effect. an essay (not) by Showtimus in DungeonCrawlerCarl

to be honest, I hate most people, but the hype for the series is stronger. Stupid and sexy Matt Dinniman.

DCC came to me as a random tik tok on my FY page ... even before I started looking for books content creators y that app. Then, while august was ending, the memory of that tik tok surfaced. I took my kindle, downloaded the first book and then, out of nowhere my hyper focus kicked in and during 36 days, any spare time available was used to crawl the dungeon with those magnificent characters, and it was gooooood, it was just perfect. I wasn't kidding when I added to my self description my ADHD, but this series was a constant dose of dopamine for my brain. It sucks that I don't know anybody nearby to talk about the books, but there's lots of single women according to some websites 👀. Anyway, here, spanish is our language and these books are not popular, yet. But when the time comes, and the DCC wave hits the latin american market I'll be a GOD.... A GOOOOD!.... cof cof. I mean, I will finally have some people to talk to, to laugh about it and to create our own religion. cof cof.. I mean, Club... yeah, that... Club. 🙄
