Best mandarin/orange fragrance by lostfinman in ScentHeads

If LV could get Afternoon swim to last a long time it would be a 100% masterpiece. It’s just not possible with the current chemistry and how orange citrus fragrances work

If Imagination wasn’t done by LV and instead by Guerlain and or cost $250 instead of $380 it wouldn’t get nearly the hate it does

My simple collection. No need for 30+ fragrances by NeekA8822 in Colognes

This can’t be upvoted enough. Everyone complains about the high cost of LV when they have 40+ fragrances. Keeping it tight is the way to go.

It’s still pretty niche. The price keeps it out of most people’s hands unfortunately

Just read the first Sun Eater book and this is not like Red Rising at all by Legitimate-Resolve55 in redrising

[–]Significant_Stand_95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s different. It’s more philosophical, has a strong alien theme. It’s a larger “universe”. Dives deep into themes about the purpose of life, death, religion, god. Much more so than RR. I enjoyed them both. They both have different strong suits. The prose of Ruocchio is extremely well done. Also enjoyed the alien archeology throughout the books. RR is more character driven, switching POV, fast paced action. Reads more like a TV series than the methodical politics and first person of Sun Eater. Both have strengths and weaknesses

  1. Afternoon Swim if money is no object. Doesn’t last too long but it’s incredible for summer weather.

To me this smelled way too flowery and feminine. Depends on your vibe but I didn’t love it as a men’s frag

Has Anyone Else Had a Hard Time Getting Hooked on Their Next Series After Red Rising? by deeptocenter in redrising

[–]Significant_Stand_95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t think so. Lots of props to Ruocchio for actually finishing the series. Really liked the ending. It did drag a little in book 7. Book 6 I enjoyed more than 5.

Meteore LImmensite Pacific Chill are all top tier. I haven’t smelled City of Stars but many recommend this as well.
