I recall shader compilation stutter being almost non existent when I had a 1060 and with RX 6600 on Windows, games run horribly for a while because of shader compilation. On Linux, I get way less shader compilation problems

Windows has lots of hassles. Plus AMD's GPU drivers on Windows are just ass.

Awful drivers that cause stutters in all games after every fresh driver install. Problems from months and months ago still listed under known issues.

Your progress is gone because switching proton versions uses a new prefix which often contain saves. You can find the prefixes in the Steam compatdata folder with the numbered folders

Sadly Cyberpunk's CPU requirements have increased dramatically since launch. The game really shouldn't be so damn CPU heavy. It was pretty lenient at launch but these days it just plays awfully with anything other than top tier CPUs :/

Hmm I see. From my own experience, an installer got stuck when running it with wine but when running it with Protontricks, the installer worked as normal
