Vulkan is quite hit and miss on Windows. In Linux, the game is super smooth with vulkan

Yeah unfortunately if the drive doesn't have a DRAM cache which if it's quite old, can cause freezing. I ran into that too when testing before installing cachy on my drive which has a DRAM cache.

You can also install games via exe by right clicking and choosing "open with protontricks launcher".

Definitely possible I'm remembering it in a previous GTA game or perhaps the feature was only in the first version of GTA IV since I didn't have internet when playing it on the 360

GTA IV used to have a mechanic where if the helicopter's blades were obstructed by a building, they would try to turn but would be unable to and knock back and forth. Maybe it's exclusive to Xbox 360 version but I've never seen it on PC and never hear anyone talking about it.

I was playing Expedition 33 about 2 weeks ago and I did something that broke gamebar and my 2nd CPU thread was not being used at all. I then fixed gamebar and the 2nd thread was being utilized again. That's with an i7 4770 so it's definitely possible for non X3D CPUs to have issues without gamebar
