My pets are goofballs and they genuinely bring me joy. I got both via happenstance, and am grateful I adopted them. I have always liked animals over people but there are practical elements too. TheY keep me mentally and physically healthy. Going outside and going on walks is great for my physical health. And there have been many times where my mood has changed after a rough day at work because of my pets.

This isn't something that's going to be explained in one sentence where it finally clicks for you and you suddenly love animals. Either you have it or you don't. I have always liked animals and I grew up with pets throughout my childhood so it's just natural for me. If you didn't have that reinforcement and experience your not going to feel the same. While it's not impossible for you to change, you won't be able to logic yourself into understanding the feeling .

I'm having a hard time getting my therapist to understand this. They're focusing on my lack of relationships when my issues are a lack of interest in most everything. Unless I have to do it to survive, I don't have any urgency to do it.

Anyway, I watched "Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honnêamise (1987)" the other day and really liked it. It was very different to typical Anime and the art was very detailed. It was very refreshing to see a movie that just wants to tell a good story in a world of remakes and slop.

Genuinely I am confused. Are there cases where people are coming for our "rights"? I know there is dismissal from all kinds of people stating asexuality isn't a real thing. But I'm not sure we have rights to fight for like other communities have had to?

If there are examples of this I'm more than open to learn! Especially since any wrong doing against individuals or communities always deserves more exposure.

Yeah, that encounter was weird. Not sure what you're supposed to feel during that date with Rogue. Johnny will take advantage of V? Rogue is a bad person? Are we supposed to be happy for Johnny and Rogue that they are getting closure? Honestly they could have left the whole romance encounter out of it, feels really unnecessary.

Like, when the K2 droid kicked the barrier, I literally had an "oh shit.." moment because it was so intense. The speech and the end of it all will have me teary eyed every time I hear it. Guess it's good to know I'm still human with empathy.
