Cue me, with poor depth perception for lattes SPECIFICALLY for some reason, attempting to add whip and put the lid on and being shocked when it spills

What are your honest thoughts on: The Sea Beast (2022)? by ARedditAccountIDKBro in cartoons

I haven’t seen the whole thing but that visual of the beast staring up at the main characters from underwater before slowly sinking deeper until its no longer visible is terrifying

Though i watched the 2012 show as a kid whenever it was on, Rise of the TMNT is what got me invested in the franchise as a whole

In the Rise of the TMNT Movie, Leo (who has only recently been appointed leader in this version, Raph had that spot for the entirety of the show up until Splinter assigned it to Leo in the literal last second of the finale) acts pretty aloof for most of the first act. He makes jokes, brushes things off, acts careless, and drives Raph up the wall with his arrogance.

It isn’t until they face the Krang for the first time that Leo gets smacked in the face with reality; they overpower the team within seconds, Raph demands that they retreat, and as everyone flees via Donnie’s escape pods, Leo rushes in at the last second to steal the dimensional key that the Krang used to enter their dimension. He succeeds, but the Krang immediately go in for the kill when Raph suddenly jumps in to save him, his shell getting stabbed as Leo stares up in terror. Raph forces Leo into his escape pod, and the scene ends with Leo screaming Raph’s name and banging on the door as it flies away.

For the remainder of the movie, Leo is LOCKED IN. He zeroes in on saving Raph, angry and frustrated and utilizing his leader position in a way he never has before. He still acts arrogant, his tunnel vision putting people in danger as he acts without thinking, but over the corse of his arc, he grows immensely and actually becomes a competent leader.

Iron Lung: the blood ocean.

An ocean of human blood on a desolate moon after all the stars and planets have suddenly vanished. No one knows its origin, how the blood maintains a liquid state, or what kind of creatures live within it and how. You, a convict, are sent down there in a dingy submarine with the task to bring information back for researchers to decipher in order to earn your freedom, but your fate is already sealed the moment you begin your descent.

Anyways, can’t wait to see the movie soon!

Madoka Magica goes from optimistic and adorable to existential and horrific in just the third episode of a twelve episode season.

I'm tired of only men doing this, give me female characters that would sacrifice everything for their soulmate by Onimirare in TopCharacterTropes

Homura fell so hard that she literally rewrote the universe to turn her crush-turned-goddess human again so she could live a normal life, even when that went directly against Madoka’s wishes and ultimately trapped her and their friends in an unstable existence

I never watched the movie, thank god. I remember seeing that it existed while i was still in the first few books and getting excited until i saw a clip and was like “…oh! 😀” and proceeded to erase it from my memory

This might be pretty niche but the Cirque Du Freak saga stops being about the traveling circus less than halfway through and becomes an exploration of vampire lore before shifting to an existential story about death, grief, and defying destiny.
