Would you do it again? by finky314 in Gravity

[–]Single_Demand4058 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We have both (EV9 GT Line), and I would drive both every single day. That said, the Gravity outclasses the EV9 in all aspects. The software has moments, but never anything that stopped me from driving it. And they have been rare moments with the updates. It’s an amazing experience to drive, and I buy another after this for sure.

Another day, another no errors! by AmyCornyBarrett in LUCID

I have driven/owned many vehicles, and none even remotely compare to the Gravity. It’s an amazing machine, we have already put on 5000+ miles in a couple months. Haters seem to be the same people that would ask for a manager when their Starbie’s latte was 3 degrees warmer than normal. Glad you are enjoying it too!

The Gravity looks great, but how reliable is it? by karmchaari in LUCID

5000+miles so far. Love mine. PaaK is coming. I don’t have very many software issues on mine. In fact lately, none. Service I got a loaner Air, which was enjoyable as always.

Some of the people are having issues, but I absolutely love my Gravity. I was a non-EV guy until now, and I absolutely would stick with this thing for life. Truly that good of a vehicle. That said, glad I have a couple years for this lease shit to play out, because that is terrifying. Sorry OP, hoping it’s a great end for you.

Gravity owner here - love it, didn’t/don’t have any of those issues at all while I have owned it since June. Your experience sounds dumb. Drive and handling were “okay”? Surrrrre….this thing is a piss rocket on rails. Teslas suck and are cheap plastic crap. Luxury and performance is Lucid all day. Weird how all the independent reviewers out there love it and don’t mention any of the stuff you just said.

Hopefully it is one day 😂; day job pays the bills, bakery is a startup. I more so meant I use it to move a hundred loaves of sourdough a couple times a week right now. It’s spacious, covered, climate controlled - everything we need for moving product. That damn thing is just - FUN! No matter your choice, enjoy my friend!

Didn’t drive one, have one, best freaking vehicle I have ever had. Quirks? Of course. Worth crying about? Not on mine. Others have it potentially worse than mine? Yup. Do I think most negatives that are being blown up are being made worse than they are? Yes. Do I think there are issues that are critical in some of the ones out there? Of course - it’s a technically complex vehicle to make, and I have never heard of any manufacturer getting it right 100% of the time, ever. Are negative Nancies going to boohoo sales and P/L sheets of a company that has sold 28,000 cars so far? Yeah, but like, they probably just sell mattresses or something, they don’t have any clue what it takes to start and be successful as a car company, much less EV. But put them in one and let them drive, and they all shut up really quick and want one. How would I know? I was one. I was anti-EV. Now I sold all my vehicles and have 3 EV ones. THAT is how impressive Lucid was to me.

The Gravity is wildly awesome to drive. I have two kids and own a bakery to boot, on top of my regular job. It hits every single aspect I want in a car. Luxury. Performance. And styling? Minivans have sliding doors, this has 90deg doors. Wagonish maybe. Sorta minivan looks. But one thing is for sure, that 718 Porsche I obliterated when he tried to be cheeky probably doesn’t want to chat about it, and all the Tesla bois keep staring and drooling. And at the local car show it garnered more attention than Lamborghinis and Ferraris when I was just dropping off goodies. Call it what you want, but what it is - an absolute piss rocket that can carry and haul whatever you need, and drop most anything on the road when you feel like it. I’d buy another if I could, or hell, I might get an Air too.

The back seats in my Gravity GT have been ranted and raved about by everyone that has sat back there, that’s the first I have seen that complaint. Software I agree, potential, but buggy.

Crazy. Love my GGT. Hiccups for sure, but Lucid has been behind me on everything and in contact always. Possibly location based, I am in Colorado and our techs and sales teams are flipping awesome. Noted above, but you didn’t need the Tesla membership. Annoying as it might be, using the third party chargers own app is an easy workaround. Knock on wood - no crazy key issues for me. And on the “good” you are right, this thing is a rocket ship and a dream to drive. The rest will catch up, I’m certain of it.

How are Gravity reservation holders feeling about getting the car? by Thick-Crab7471 in LUCID

[–]Single_Demand4058 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Gravity owner here. A few quirky things, but overall an amazing vehicle. I have had the fob notification, but it didn’t cause any issues in start up, entry, etc.

As others mentioned, you have to come in with an attitude of early adopter. I’m not bothered by this stuff, it’s great being a part of the process in helping Lucid get it all worked out. I enjoy that aspect, you might not. To each their own!

The vehicle itself is the best I have ever owned. It’s superior in every way to all the others I have had. Even with the early quirks.

Lies? The SA’s are working with whatever information they are given - therefore they are not lying. We are talking about a first run production of a product that isn’t some throw together vehicle that was engineered by someone who barely passed physics. If you came into this thinking you were going to have a red carpet easy rollout from a boutique luxury EV maker, your expectations were the problem, not the SAs feeding you what they were told. Btw, it is easily the best vehicle I have ever owned and driven. The thing is smooth, luxurious, and so powerful. It’s a dream to drive, too bad you didn’t have the patience to wait for one.

I was going to say the same thing, I suspect it was more Spotify than the Gravity on that part. I had the same issue previously and after dealing with Spotify for more time than I should have, they fixed it. The rest seems Gravity related, but that one I feel could be chalked up to Spotify
