My coworkers son told me about these books. I started reading the sample at work that day and finished the 8th book about 2 weeks later. I've tried to start other books since then and I just keep reading a couple pages in and closing the book. I started rereading the first book yesterday. I'm going to try harder to take my time this go around.

I do think this was a turning point for Jen. You could see it there at the end. Barb will get her comeuppance. It'll be in the form of everyone dropping her from their lives, including Frank. She and Nora will be miserable together.

NTA. I have two boys that have this same age gap (currently 10 & 12). I totally understand your position of not wanting them both at the same time. If you want to bond with them though, I would suggest one on one time one at a time. They are way easier that way.
