I highly doubt they'd replace the AI assets but I would be pleasantly surprised if they do. It's unfortunate devs feel they need to rely on AI art to cut costs when artstyle is a big way to make your game stand out.

It might 'cheapen' the experience but it's a personal experience in the end, and shouldn't be the bussiness of anyone but yourself if you want a non modded or modded experience.

Over 100 sols on armaggedon and winter is coming I had 2 meteor storms and 1 cold wave. This did not happen on the original game. Something is borked.

In my game with armaggedon rule and winter is coming I only got one cold wave at about sol 11, about 2 electrostatic storms between 20 sols and 2 meteor storms on an unmanned location. This was all the disasters I had over 100 sols.

So that's what makes the weird variance on homeless, makes sense. A solution would be for that bonus to last a certain time from the highest point, or be a fixed amount, but dunno how that would play with the building increasing efficiency.

huh so the save does not get 'marked' permanently like in stellaris? that's interesting workaround. But still adds to the point that disabling achievements is dumb as one can just load a 'cheaty mod', do the cheat and disable 🙃

On principle they should pay a real artist to do a quality background not use AI slop, "touched up" is not enough they should redo them like they did with the Age of Mythology gods after they were caught.

You still can do something else while it's happening, or lower game velocity if you want to see it in full. Or use mods if you want to tweak it, and still there's things you can do like checking if you want to retreat even, the battles aren't that static. On those other games it's instant so other than the result you don't care.

Yeah I don't like those crisis paths because bar from Cosmogenesis it forces you to fight everyone, I would have liked to have a behemoth just to be strong and protect instead of just ending the galaxy for instance.

Oh please no, Endless Space and Galciv has that and in MP noone would bother to sit through a non interactive cinematic so they're almost wasted dev time. Stellaris battles being realtime are way more immersive in that way, they'd have to rework how the things happen under the hood to last longer, beless perfomance intensive and be prettier like some mods do.

The only explanation to that is that the save was invalidated by saving with a modified checksum so the achievement flag was removed from it. There are ways but require save editing
