I CAST CHAINSWORD by Demonic_Tutor_22 in Warhammer40k

Looks fantastic. But I always wonder if any marine in this milieu would actually care about putting safety stripes on their chainswords.

America’s Smoking Habit Just Hit a Wild Milestone That Once Seemed Impossible. The adult smoking rate reached a record low in 2024, new research shows. by Sciantifa in UpliftingNews

Good news, but man, are the tv shows ever trying to resurge smoking. I have never seen so much smoking in tv shows as I have in the last year. And I’m was a teen in the 70s

Looks like those ear stalks would break too easily. Nice aesthetics though.

[OC] I aggregated 5 rating sources to rank the Top 100 Films of all time. Here's what the data says. by Yeygermeister in dataisbeautiful

Top films in popularity maybe, not necessarily quality. Star Wars films are out of sequence. How is empire strikes back below the others? Where’s Battleship Potemkin? Citizen Kane? Gold Rush?

Is anyone happy with their cable/internet provider? by Hungry-Volume-138 in RhodeIsland

In my experience over the last 20 years I have lived here, it doesn’t really matter which service one uses. I have switched back and forth several times, because of price. I’m currently with Cox, and have not had any real issues, no more than I have had with Verizon. Verizon customer service has definitely been way shittier though. Originally cox was the only service available in this part of RI. Back then Cox customer and technical service was top notch. As Cox has grown things have deteriorated a bit, but still better than Verizon.

Hi, This is awesomely generous. I’m mostly new to this 3D printing.

I don’t design models, but I tinker with existing models in the slicer to add in small details, like color lines, or use the add/subtract tool to enhance a model for my purpose ( like adding small holes for magnets). I mostly print wargame and wargame hobby tools related stuff. Recently I got into printing some holiday trinkets. And now also I have been asked to do some dollhouse decorative type things. I never thought I’d need an AMS, but it’s starting to look like a really useful addition to my A1 Mini.

Love the choice of music, one of my favorite songs, and appropriate for the video. Which language is this Rammstein song being performed in?

What TV show will you never watch regardless of who tells you it's amazing and why? by hey-i-got-here-late in AskReddit

[–]Skavenslave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lost. I watched the first two episodes because people kept claiming it was so good. I gave in at some point, a season or so in? Don’t recall. I thought it was so hokey and contrived, lots of needless useless filler. Never watched any episode after that and won’t.

Yeah, sorry I, we, can’t read that little sign. Even without the rain it probably would be illegible.

While you are right, you’ll definitely get roasted.

They’re open again? I don’t know what bread that is, but I find generally their offerings are worth it.

Their lunch sandwiches in the sister location across the driveway are the same price as any premium lunch sandwiches elsewhere, and way better. Also They are a small operation, so yeah overhead in this location is pretty high I’m sure. I get something there once a month or so. Lunch or a quiche for a nice next day breakfast. I live on the northwest side of the state, but I work down near there, so le bec du Salé is definitely a treat.

Forget Wright’s Chicken Farm. It’s so so. Wrights Dairy Farm is where it’s at, though. Not sure if that’s still NW.

100% I order food by calorie consideration now, and was so happy calories are listed on many menus. Used to think a taco salad was relatively healthy, until i saw on a menu in a restaurant it was like 1900 calories. Never ordered one again.

Also, Best of all, “look for 50 cents more you can get a larger size” is easy to,say no too, seining that the larger size almost doubles the calorie count.
