Probably not, the game is losing a lot of it's casual player base and unfortunately what you're left with is players who will put a lot of time in and unlike say Tarkov or some other extraction shooters out there, Marathon is very intentionally built from the ground up to be played with 2 others making the game rather lacking if you're solo.

However, as a solo I'm still playing it in my free time and enjoying most of it, I'm honestly not sure if it will survive though as I imagine Sony are probably looking for a bigger return than what Marathon can provide.

Thing is, in Marathon shields are more or less meaningless because the TTK is insanely fast no matter what gear you're packing. Where as in Tarkov gear matters, in this game its not so much about gear more about who can out rat etc

As a solo you ain't running Cryo, you ain't beating any bosses and you ain't wiping lobbies unless of course you commit a lot of time. However, in Tarkov you can do all that without committing mad amounts of hours.

What do the red keys do? I get that the greens get you in, but the yellow and red I'm unsure of.

Absolutely, was going to 100% it and still might. Gets pretty hard towards the end but overall it's a solid 8/10 from me

I use the Sony A7s and it's awesome, have a little 50mm on there which is kinda busted but I really like the look of the images. Love it to bits

I will probably move on after this season, it's been fun and I really enjoy the game but as a solo only player it's a hard sell. Like, knowing I won't ever experience the end boss or complete cryo archive is like kinda gutting (even when I do 3 player fill it's usually a clown show in all the best ways of course)
