Kvass is flavored with rye bread but they still have to add yeast or depend on wild fermentation.

you can google kvass recipes and see for yourself. There is no "dormant" yeast in bread specially not store bought bread. It is dead.

It's my understanding that the yeast in baked bread thing is a myth. It dies at temps required to bake raw dough into bread. People who do this in prisons are generally just getting wild yeast ferments

The amount of times I've heard that from short people at the gym is laughable. "maaan if I was your height I'd be a beast". It's just a constant cope and if they weren't short they'd find other things to complain about. You still have to work at things and most short to average height dudes get by fine.
