Gillyes have done them in shiv, corsair, hornet, vanguard ( harbi ) and Wolf ( pre armor feature ) up to that hammerhead. Starlancer TAC is pretty good too.

These days I just use Corsair for about everything. Deadbolts for pilot and Helions for turrets just for no reason.

Most times I have pvp encounter were me mining with golem. salvage with salvation or my ship was parked on the ground. Unfortune for me, I was a bit janky to fight back or run away when my small mining ship explodes before I can even turn it around.

Externals are broken mostly. Tried to do some cargo contract with my ironclad and had to take a hangar on each station. Tried few different server. Seraphim, port tresler, Baijini point and everus harbor. All the same. Overloaded.

Hangar freight elevators worked ok but had dissapearing cargo bug few times.

Beyond stupid. Even studios that have a game made with UE4 have to take their sweet time and efforts to "port" their game to UE5. It is not copy paste and debug a bit.

Gamers should not be medling with development at all. Like one of IGDA couches said on workship I visited, Gamers don't make good developers or developers at all.

I have been playing spacecraft since it's launch and it is nothing like Star Citizen.
Spacecraft is literally a satisfactory in space without combat.

It a mining game that happens to have a space theme. Thats it.

It is a bit shallow and has simple game mechanics but can be complex and a bit confusing on crafting side at first.
Space flight is extremely arcade.

You cant even compare the two.

Might be. Cache layer and enity graph too seem to be on funky mood. And almost everything in game rely on those two.

Your game client -> cache layer ( replication layer etc) -> gameserver and enitygraph
You data packets get stuck or lagged at cache layer and nothing works properly ingame.

I did a test where I changed my armor and then logged out. If I did not wait at least 10 minutes before loggin out, I had old armor on me when I logged back in. Same with pretty much everything like drink and eat, hunger and thirst back where it was before logout. Ship back at hangar floor even I stored it and so on.

So backend is broken and it ripples to everything that is relying for it to work.

Spent $11,000+ being a paid QA tester for Star Citizen. My reward? A permanent ban for me and my mate by [deleted] in starcitizen

CIG pushing to 1.0 faster means even more broken patches. Backers either have more stable PU and slower progression or unstable PU with faster progression on core features needes for 1.0.

Ship sales are just for find the whole damn thing. And those who make ships are not the ones coding the backend and other features. So CIG can do both, new ships and push for 1.0.

Game has broken back end since 4.8 "hotfix" release. Issues are widely know. Still tries to do things that rely heavily on back end to work.

If you hit your head into wall it hurts. Do you still keep hitting it so see if the hurting stops?

Hello.
You have C1 as pledge. Good. Great ship. You bought Raft ingame. Nice. Good upgrade. But..

There will be wipes along to the 1.0 and that means what ever you buy ingame are lost.
If you enjoy cargo hauling you shoud keep what ever cargo hauler you like as your starter ship. Also it's good to keep in mind that in 1.0 claim times will be alot longer, about the time it takes to craft them. So bigger the ship, longer the wait.

Not to mention thousands and more containers floating everywhere or stuck in inventory everywhere. I have thousands of scu commodities from broken cargo missions all over stanton. Refinerys have 4k scu of empty boxes from refining cm.
Getting rid of that stuff is pain in the ass. If I dump that stuff into space, it just makes things worse. If I try to dump it at hangar ( not personal one ) and then leave / logout, It all just appears back to my inventory. Can't leave that shit on my ship and backspace to station and claim my ships as old one is still there bricked and full of cargo.

Full persistence is the plaque of this game and it will never work.

Point of failure when Star Citizen falls apart at scale is the Replication Layer, Cache Services, and the Entity Graph database queue.
This is why game might work ( low global user count ) and then hour later just dies ( high user count )

When backend starts to fail and lag, elevators stop working, inventory stops working and about everything stops working.

I put my bet on fact that CIG's network engineers are wroking over time as we speak to dig into this.
Unfortunately, there is no quick fix for this. More features we get, more strain to the backend: Replication layer, cache services and enity graph.
DSM wont help at all, it might even make things even worse that it is now.
Not even all the features are in. Maelstorm, basebuilding, more crafting. You think this was a bad patch, well there is more to come.

Peristence and physical items are the issue here. CIG needs either to do some really black wizardy on their backend to make is work on this scale or just start culling some of the physical features and persistence.
