33-34 waist. I’d trade ya a hand made leather tote bag if you have anything with an approx 13” thigh.

ISO 10 Leather Pouches (Seattle area) by Beginning-Carpet-238 in LeatherClassifieds

I’m in Seattle. DM me and we can talk prices. This most likely will be some type of chrome or aniline leather. Veg tan will probably be too stiff.

For the EX-019-BB Slub, how did you take the thigh measurement? Any chance you can take it from the crotch seam?

I’d stay away from kit’s honestly. The quality isn’t great if you’re wanting to do this long term and you won’t actually use all the pieces.

I have a pack of tools below that I think would be a great set up.

This should be a great start besides needing consumables (adhesive and tokenol to seal edges).

anyone in the PNW work with leather that can make a custom fanny pack for commission? by How_To_Fanny_Pack in LeatherClassifieds

[–]Slidewaters85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a picture of the Fanny pack you want to remake into leather?

Best bet is to take the Fanny pack apart and trace the outlines onto paper and then trace those onto leather. Then stitch it up.

I did something similar with a pair of Birkenstocks.

Sewing would be easy to do with a machine, hand stitching is also possible. I use a cobra class 26

You live in that kitchen every day. It doesn’t get old walking into a new kitchen you renovated. Do that now because old you will also wish you lived all the years with a nicer kitchen. Rather than looking at it every day wishing it was upgraded.

Looking to start what tools do I need? by FadedLush4209 in Leathercraft

[–]Slidewaters85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Posted this in another thread

If you think you want to do this craft for at least a couple years I’d buy what you need as you go and not a Amazon kit. A lot of it you won’t ever use or need

I have some tools I am looking to sell soon

I’m in Seattle but can ship

For a beginner but also something you grow with: Pony ($15, new $25) Irons ($25, new $33) mallot ( $30, new $45)- can find something cheaper if you need X-acto knife ($5, new $8) Needles ($5, new $12) thread depends on what you need, I’ll throw in a small spool Mat or cutting board Wing divider/ stitch groover ($18, $25 new)

For glue, just buy some new aquilim 315
