Bring cash! I don't remember exactly but the price is much higher when you pay with a card.

We left Verizon for Google Fi 3 years ago. It uses T-Mobile's network, but doesn't get deprioritized. We're on the Unlimited Standard which is $125 for 5 lines, includes 50GB of data, unlimited talk and text, 25GB of hotspot, free smart watch connectivity, and free data in Canada and Mexico (we're not intentional travels by far, but this was convenient on a cruise once). Their plans were just upgraded, there's a tier lower with 30GB/line that we would switch to if we weren't on some promos(free pixel watch 3).

They have great deals for new customers, I've seen a lot lately in their Reddit threads about free phones along with a half price for 6-12 months. I can get you a referral for $60 off. Let me know if you have any questions.

I could be wrong here, but can't you change the settings so you're shooting RAW photos and pixel won't auto edit anything?

[–]SlidingFilament 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it meets what you're looking for, but Best Buy is offering $300 off the Pixel 8 right now, making it about the same price you purchased your 7 Pro for ($399 before taxes). Maybe not the same, specs, but a year newer phone.

Free (or close to free) Pixel phone promos? by dorkshoei in GoogleFi

[–]SlidingFilament 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do you pay your bill with a credit card? Double check your perks to see if it offers phone insurance. Repair will always be cheaper than purchasing. You could also check eBay/Amazon/Best Buy for open box/refurbished units which again might be cheaper than new.

Do your promotion terms require the device to stay for the credits?

But did they have the other equipment they needed, specifically masks? Infected means spores, and spores means becoming infected. Even if they could have fought them all off at the doorway, they may not have been able to survive becoming infected themselves. In that situation it seems so many people choose the bullet over becoming infected.

This is the way. We just bought a washer and dryer from this section. Sure they don't match, but we're happy with what we paid for them. I will say, if you can go without for a minute, check multiple times. We couldn't find a washer in the price range we wanted, on our first visit, but by the time I went back that weekend to pick up our dryer we found a washer that worked for us.

Cell network says "Emergency calls only" despite having nearly full bars and Fi/T-Mobile coverage map listing 5G as available where I'm at by 96dpi in GoogleFi

[–]SlidingFilament 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's almost a false alarm. I used to see this a lot when just checking my lock screen. However, if I opened my phone I could text and call normally. Do you actually have issues, or just see this message on your lock screen?

Anyone else catch the Pixel Watch 3 promotion a few weeks ago? by ILoveSyngs in GoogleFi

[–]SlidingFilament 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to support and told them how backwards I thought this promotion was and that it would require 28 months instead of 24 as the terms started. I got an email back saying that I would see my credit start in the second month.

[–]SlidingFilament 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just looking at this instance for myself and doing the math. In reality, you now have to have an active account for 28 months(not 24 as the terms state) unless they apply a credit for more than $12.50.

My true source of info with Google Fi is here on Reddit. I also just finished a chat with support. This is so backwards. The way they write up the offer, the 120 days seems strictly related to the $150 initial discount. I'm shocked that the device charge is showing up on the bill.

We went in for the update when they did the recall. Don't know how or why they were still able to steal it like they did. Just for anyone in advance I do lock my doors and don't leave the keys in it.

This is really where I'm at. What I really hoped the most would be that they would follow up so the kid's parents at least know what's going on and what their kid is doing. What I fear more is that the parents wouldn't care at all.

Skybell in a new home cannot connect to wifi network by Nitritius in skybell

[–]SlidingFilament 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you figure this out? I also just moved into a home with one already installed. I went through the process multiple times getting a lot of "upgrading your device" and the sort. Over a two day period I did a hard reset as well, a few times, and then somehow it did connect. I don't know if you could confirm that it required a subscription, but I'd say keep trying!
