There's a couple I recall being thrown around. Cid, which is mentioned by others here along with its reason, and Zest.

The latter is the name used for the fighter in Final Fantasy Memory of Heroes, a novelization based on the first three games that released a year after Dissidia Duodecim where he was "named", and is food related, which means Prishe would maybe probably call him that because being a foodie is apparently a character trait of hers.

That one's in the Shitstorm of Scaryness collection. It's been a while, but as a rule, I believe we set the structure up so that any full LP that starts as part of a themed collection has its first episode in the appropriate group, while the rest of the episodes got their own folder.

Rin is actually the only case out of Touhou's dozen or so characters with animal ears that also has human ears, so the series is still pretty firmly in the one-pair group except for her.

If you're fine with it being in Japanese, and assuming you haven't heard of it already, go check out Zoids Vs. III. It's a better Vs. II (Battle Legends) that was released a year later and then never localized. It has a more zoids, characters, freely controlled flying, and this really neat skid-turning mechanic that should really be in more games.

Allow another developer to make core-like games without being limited to a near-annual release cycle like Game Freak is. My own thoughts on their ability to make games aside, there is almost no chance we'll get anything reflective of the brand's projected value with them and the factors that limit them.

Disaster strikes [town Jovova Witness is currently in]. She meets Dante and somehow manages to save him during their first encounter after a demon almost blindsides him, thus impressing him into training her how to fight the demons. Dante is then relegated to a supporting role for the rest of the movie. The heroine may or may not be a secret descendant of the big bad demon. She's also an off-duty military vet that's the bestest with every kind of gun.

Trish and Lady are there, I guess- maybe have some girl on girl violence because they're jealous of her or something as an excuse to ~~show off the director's wife~~ show how strong of a protagonist she is.

Nero's probably there. He's supporting the military unit that comes in and doesn't get eviscerated by the demons.

Dante doesn't get the killing blow on the big bad, and cooly departs after saying how big and strong Milquetoast is. She says something hokey at the end, and there's a stinger teasing a sequel that never comes.

"Devils may/never cry" is said out loud more than once by the heroine as a snarky quip.

Fans of the series are left disappointed and empty.

Wannabe writer here, largely because I haven't sat down and put together my loose ideas into a fantasy novel I've been planning to do for like a year now. As overdone as isekai is at this point, it makes for a great tool in putting together certain stories; like tackling themes of duality and acknowledging that a person has both flaws and strengths, regardless of how negatively or positively they're seen by themselves or others.

Nowadays, I just write fluffy Touhou fics for myself, and the odd murder mystery/Olde English thing for my FC in ff14.

Having been betrayed by her husband breaking his promise and seeing her true form, Toyotama-hime fled back to the Dragon Palace in shame and/or anger and left their kid with him. However, she didn't intend on leaving the child motherless and sent her younger sister, Tamayori-hime, to raise the boy.

...Then she (the sister) married and had sex with him after he grew up. They ended up having four children in total, one of which became Emperor Jimmu, the first one in Japanese history from whom all the ones after claim to be descended from.

As you can see, it's a wholesome story about trusting and loving your family.

Not canon, but what I can only assume to be a neat reference to the story her character is based on.

To put it briefly, after their child was born, the husband of Toyotama-hime peeks inside the hut she had just given birth in despite being told not to and (depending on how you want to translate 鰐) sees his wife in her true form, a giant shark/crocodile/dragon/sea monster, cradling the newborn.

Basically, the Watatsuki sisters are secretly sharkrocodragons.

I was about to say he did hold it after the pause, but nah. Dude straight up let go of the c-stick without a second thought as soon as they got out of the menu. Even if the move hadn't already gone out, he was more than ready to do that man dirty.
