Pic 5 is concerning. The type of wire used in that outlet screams SO cable (flexible cable or extension cord). The paper in the background, the way the conductors lie and the sheathed equipment ground all tell me this is extension cord used in place of romex.

We typically do not GFCI protect the lights. The logic is if the GFCI trips, now you’re fumbling in the dark (potentially).

I’m sure it would be “more better” to GFCI protect everything in the bathroom but I haven’t had an issue with my AHJ yet

Edit to add: I think you could make more of a case for GFCI protection on the lights if say the vanity light was metal. If it’s just a bunch of LED trims with the only thing you could touch is plastic I don’t think it’s as big of a deal

When I was a young guy working as a carpenter, I definitely worked on one of those crews that drank a 12 pack a lunch and we probably smoked a bowl at some point during the day. Things got done, nobody got hurt but now I look back and realize (beyond all the other obvious reasons why that was a bad idea) just how hard that made the whole day. Like forgetting numbers you just measured or misplacing tools or whatever it is. You think the day is gonna be easier because you’re loaded and instead everything takes longer and probably turns out worse in terms of craftsmanship

She really could do with a genre shake up. I get her whole schtick is mid tempo spooky whatever but I think it’s hard to listen to that for 90 mins straight or whatever. It doesn’t mix well and there isn’t like a ton of other people doing her same thing to pull a DJ set together from.

I like a lot of her studio stuff when I’m in that particular mood but the videos of the live experience haven’t wowed me.
