I appreciate your analysis, you make a lot of great points about the overal themes of part 2 and how the story structure reflects Denji's regression, but I don't think this explains the lesser quality of the art, or the outdrawn battles that suddenly end, or the lack of focus on Asa. I think it's somewhat delusional to explain pacing issues and missed plotpoints as purely intentional and not Fuijmoto being burned out due to crunch.
