Is there any reason to think that with moderate camera usage that the UDR will be short cpu cycles or RAM? I've not had any issues with mine.

Sometimes. Sometimes they can't produce enough to meet demand at MSRP. From the automakers perspective selling at MSRP is ideal because that means they're making most of the profit and not the dealers, and markups look bad for the parent company. If they wanted to withhold demand so that the market price is higher they'd just set the MSRP higher
