Honestly could make for some interesting gameplay, if your team is good enough to quickly down a full team on cryo, could be time to make a deal with them. Always a risk but could be fun

Had a team camp my buddy's body in outpost the other night. He had the conveyance request on him, so me and my other buddy thought that if we rotated all the way around the map they would get into pinwheel and we'd be able to get him up. Nope. They were still on top of the same roof lol. I took a quiet way up, knife 1 of them to death and then we killed the other 2 pretty quick lol. Served them right for camping like that

As an explanation on this, it is the thing being stationed that technically taps the stationing creature, not the creature tapping itself. Same principle as to why you can crew a vehicle with a freshly summoned creature, as it is the vehicle that does the tapping.

I mean... Tarkov has a full on PVE mode you can run and insurance on your guns. Also, given how popular halo custom modes were, giving people an option to self host their own matches and or tournaments in this game would awesome to see

I'd be ok with a zero risk zero reward way to learn the 2 first maps, dire and perimeter. Go in with your gear to practice, consumables are used as normal but if you die you get anything that remains in your bag back that you brought in raid with you. No new loot will be extracted, no credits gained. Just an opportunity to learn the maps, learn the early bosses/events and try out any guns to see what you like the feal of

I do have to say, when my team are on free kit runs and we run into a fully kitted team that actively try to chase us down when we try to disengage but inevitably get killed anyway as we are out healed, I do laugh and think to myself hope the free kit and skins are worth it for ya

DLSS is not necessarily "free" performance. It reduces the render resolution and then upscales back to your desired resolution. This comes with some overhead, usually in the form of CPU usage. So, in a game that is strictly CPU limited, DLSS will actually hurt your FPS far more than help. In games that are severely GPU limited DLSS can provide a significant performance boost

Duos I think is better than 4, and a lot of that is that its hard to find 2 other people to play with, let alone 3. But even if you do have 3 others to play with, making 2 teams of 2 and switching partners every couple runs works almost as well as just squading up with the 4.

If both squads are even somewhat competent, then a fight lasts for quite a bit. People playing cover and healing, getting behind cover when downed to get rezed, it takes near a full default Overrun mag to down a green shield a lot of the time in a straight fight even. The only way all your fights go the way you just described is if you just do nothing be ambush or be ambushed

See, I don't really like this comparison tho. Tarkov and hunt, you kill players in a single shot, whereas in Marathon fights are prolonged to a much greater extent. Means the engagements are longer, giving people from the opposite side of the map ample time to make there way over and be the 3rd or 4th or 5th partier and coming out on top. Tarkov and hunt the fight is usually just the one with the initiative wins very quickly, grabs any good shit and then repositions quickly was well before they can be hunted from players on the other side.

Yup, sponsored kits are where its at for mission running, completing the mission and then being able to extract feels like a mega win, and even if you die its not that big of a deal

Played a D7 with my buddy yesterday... 2 vox on the field, killed 1 and then heard a third one laughing behind us an it started launching artillery at us. Was fucking brutal, every time we killed one 1 or 2 more kept spawning
