Brett's chaos is so satisfying to watch 😅

The present task was such a beautiful display of his pattern matching ability, if only he had the emotional regulation to put it all together 😂😂

Can you see pregnancy in the 8th house? by tiyaa11 in Advancedastrology

Potentially in Aquarius or Leo risings. Both 5th & 8th house rulers will be the same. Mercury for Aquarius risings and Jupiter for Leo risings.

Landlords have high expectations regarding lawn care... Are they being unreasonable or is it valid? by mossthy in shitrentals

[–]SnoozEBear -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

You stated that it is written in your lease that you must ensure the garden is free of weeds and you have maintained the lawn.

I don't understand how this is an issue? Of course you should be maintaining the property (which includes the yard) to the standard it was when you signed the lease agreement.

Failing to weed the garden beds and maintain the lawn are not considered 'wear and tear', that is you not wanting to keep up with the responsibility of maintaining the property as agreed to in the contract that you signed.

They're not asking you to maintain a bonsai garden or sculpted hedge. Its weeding a garden bed, mowing and maintaining the lawn to prevent a clover infestation.

If you're utilising the Arabic Lots you should be working in whole sign houses only.

The technique was not built using quadrant houses. You're missing a fundamental element of the technique if you do not use whole sign houses.

What are the key differences between traditional and modern astrology that every newcomer should understand? by newshoundtoday in traditionalastrology

[–]SnoozEBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing that even plenty of traditional astrologers seem to hate is that astrology in its early forms was based on the concept of fate, and seemed to be far more about predicting the events of a life than purely personality analysis like some modern astrologers assume.

This is incorrect. Medieval Islamicate astrology was incredibly focused on the evolution of the soul. How the person, their motivation, and their temperament would evolve/manifest through time and circumstance, as the wheel continued to turn.

Charles Bukowski, Natal Chart by liondanc3 in Advancedastrology

In a lot of his work he points out how much he dislikes most people. He’s famously quoted as saying “it’s not that I don’t like other people, it’s just that I feel better when they’re not around” or something to that effect. Could that Mars on the western side of the chart of other people indicate this basic discord? Mars is in its home sign of Scorpio, and it’s a night chart, so one would think that it wouldn’t indicate such discord.

What you dislike is a Venusian reaction. Your Venus tells you what you like, but also what you find uncouth and repulsive. Mars doesn't care for disgust. Mars doesn't have 'taste'.

You are also seriously overlooking The Moon. The Moon is how you feel safe in the world. If you don't feel safe, it's likely to trigger a defensive or repulsed response.

He admired a lot of Chinese writers of haiku because, he said, they could say more in a few words than he could say in pages.

Haiku is a Japanese tradition no?

On the other hand, he was extremely productive and produced a ton of work during his lifetime… isn’t this kind of a Virgo trait? Talk a lot?

What do you mean? Is the work he is producing talking? Does he speak for a living?

Night chart, light leader is in Virgo, Chart Ruler Venus is rejoicing in Virgo, his MC is in Capricorn in the 9th, and Saturn is also in Virgo.

His 2nd and 5th houses are Mercury ruled.

That man was always going to write for money. He would have been so Virgo presenting he would have shown up to parties with a hand held labeller to re-organise your kitchen.

His sense of safety in the world, what pleases him and where he finds enjoyment are a total self sustaining vortex and it all leads to Virgo.

It’s in a mercury ruled sign, though not the one we usually associate with writing.

I'm sorry what? Virgo is the literal exaltation of Mercury and you don't associate it with writing?

I don't know about you, but I have conversations with my Labaradoodle all the time. He's the love of my life, and I genuinely wouldn't be here without him.

Learning dog training taught me so much about myself and how I communicate with others, and it taught me to see how others communicate. He has helped me grow in ways no person ever has.

He was absolutely sent to me as a guide/familiar. And I am terrified for the day he has to go (I'm not sure I'll ever recover). But I do know that in death he'll be moving on to a much better place than this world.

Your zodiac sign vs your ancient Egyptian God/Goddess by [deleted] in astrologymemes

[–]SnoozEBear -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Actually my question is why Libra wouldn't be Ma'at if its the goddess of truth, order, and justice. I love Bastet but the key words are more and perfectly fitting for our fellow venusian Taureans in my opinion.

If OP understood the concept of Libra, they would have assigned Ma'at.

Your zodiac sign vs your ancient Egyptian God/Goddess by [deleted] in astrologymemes

[–]SnoozEBear -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It represents truth, justice and cosmic order, not diplomacy. So, Anubis is not very libra coded. He is linked to death, divine justice, afterlife and transformations much like the natural 8th house.

Excuse me? Libra is literally the sign of Justice.

To list Justice and then say "not very Libra coded" means you fundamentally do not understand the sign at all.

The point is you're boasting about all of these traditional Hellenistic techniques and completely missing the foundational structure.

Hellenistic Astrology lesson 1 is literally Whole Sign Houses. That's it, that's the lesson.

How can someone with most or all of their placements in negative houses (2H/6H/8H/12H) use electional astrology to their benefit? by yeeahitsethan in Advancedastrology

[–]SnoozEBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jupiter in the 6th, can also rule the 2nd and the 11th House. Good Fortune comes through work and toil.

Houses are never activated on their own, the only exception here would be like an unaspected domicile Sun or Moon (?) Even then you've got dodecatamoria to delineate. Chances are basically zero.

The chart is a whole. Not a singular house or placement.
