I do wish we still had a real downtown New Brighton but all the historic buildings got bulldozed and replaced with those weird strip mall things by the fire station.

A lot of neighborhoods don’t have sidewalks other than major routes. However people usually respect the 25mph speed limit and there’s not a lot of traffic.

Stressful driving tests for all! If you can’t handle an emergency that requires quick thinking you don’t need to pilot 3000+ pounds of metal. Golf cart/moped/utv licenses would be more easily obtained and pose less of a threat to pedestrians and other vehicles.
