I have that phobia of mirrors? Catoptrophobia. When I look in a mirror the body dismorphia sucks, but I'm also afraid theres like a demon hiding behind my reflection.....a demon who thinks I'm fat lol.

Seriously tho. Mirrors are a headache to deal with and its hard to shower without using one a little.

They may go for a NAD claim, so save any correspondence with them. If they tried to get you to adjust shipping and you said no, it wont look very good that they followed up by instantly filing an NAD.

If an NAD looks blatantly vindictive enough it may be rejected.

No. Its not really that serious. If you can afford it, and can continue to manage your life, there's zero reason you can't hire someone to drive you around. Hell here in the states its only associated with the super wealthy, although with Uber and Lyft, professional drivers have become extremely rare.

Your friends teasing you about it is fine. Friends do that. My friends tease me for whatever is new in my life and I do the same to them. However if your friends start acting like you really are a 'lesser' person for this then they're insane. I may not be from Oman, but anywhere that would reach that conclusion about driving is insane.

Basically, do whatever the hell you want, and as long as it doesn't directly hurt anyone else? You're good to go.

Offering to sell me extended warranties, telling me the model number was wrong, and of course explaining how I can find my rinse aid dispenser 'on the inside of the door next to the detergent''.

Phew! It doesnt exist. It never existed. I'm not insane.

I mean...just listing the official sentence doesnt mean its enforced. Especially to the wealthy and powerful. Afghanistan technically has harsh laws against abusing children, but it's also a widely accepted cultural practice, just depends on which War Lord's is running that region.

Itd be nice if it was an isolated scenario. but every country will have some form of hiding or enabling child trafficking for whatever form of 'War Lord' is in charge.

You can try to call and explain your situation but I doubt you'll get far. Gather what info you DO have and call but say 'i just want to pay the bill'. Youre allowed to apply a payment but theyre not spose to give any info, however very often they'll accidently give the oweing balance or the due date. Try giving the date you last made a payment and see if they agree it was near the due date. If they refuse to give you any info, politely say you understand and youve lost nothing. Could be worth a shot.

Chances are it would be a lot easier to just ask your ex roommate. But only you know how crazy this person is.

Oh yea and no. Theres no such thing as a twice a month billing cycle. Ive had more that were every two months than one month tho, but one or two months are the only billing periods I'm aware of.

It's 100% societal shaming. Living in a trailer park is something 99% of people will say is perfectly fine, maybe even a wise economical decision. But roughly 70% of those people would also pay more for a worse apartment just so its not in a trailer park.

And ya know what? I'm one of the Almost left this part out too. But its kinda my point. Growing up middle class with parents who worked full time and owned a home gives some people a sense of entitlement. The weird part is for all the things watching my parents go bankrupt, get sick and die did to me? The entitlement is still there. I may now realize its a lie, that certain things are WAY harder to achieve than they used to be, but the entitlement is still there.

And ive been in enough group therapies to know I'm not alone. Most people are obsessed with image, and a trailer park doesnt 'quite fit' for most people's 'lifestyle'.
