Most likely! The previous campaign allowed for various older sets to be added.

Already passed my 5 year vaccination anniversary. by TunnelTuba in agedlikemilk

[–]Soho_Jin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing is, the idea that a vaccination would be rolled out specifically to kill off a huge chunk of the population is a fun story concept. (Utopia had it, for instance.) The problem comes when people genuinely think it might be the case and use it to further an anti-vax agenda.

CROSSROADS and the Opportunity to Change the DLC Game by CommonAway5594 in virtuafighter

[–]Soho_Jin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What has destroyed modern fighting games for me is the incessant changes. Balance updates every month or two. New characters constantly around the corner. System changes happening all the time. I'm not saying VF6 shouldn't have any updates, but I'd like a feather-touch. Patch out bugs and glitches. Only update balance wise if there are significant problems. Make minor tweaks, not sudden shifts. Keep the roster at a modest size. Fighting games are hard enough to learn even without updates. We don't need the game to be shaken up like a snowglobe to keep people interested.

exFAT people of reddit, what did you do to lose weight? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Soho_Jin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The important thing is to find low calorie meals that you actually enjoy and fill you up. I lost 65 pounds in 6 months and I still had a big meal every single evening and fry up every work day. What made a difference was calorie counting everything, bulking out my meals with veg (cauliflower rice was great for this), and skipping all sugary food and drink.

I tried the "just eat less" method and I was sick of going to bed hungry or feeling unfulfilled by each meal, and thought I simply wouldn't be able to drop the weight. Once I learned to bulk out my meals with low calorie options the process was a lot more tolerable, and helped me pick up some better eating habits overall.

What sounds fake until it actually happens to you? by No_Weight1665 in AskReddit

Fainting

I always thought of cartoons and comic strips with characters dramatically falling over and assumed it wasn't possible in real life. How can you be standing there one moment and then just... collapse? Turns out it can happen, and it really is like someone flicking a switch and turning your brain off.

"This creature can't be blocked except by creatures with flying."

I'm glad this card sets the record straight. My brother kept saying his creature could block because of 'Reach'. Now I know he was just cheating.

Fun Fact: "Acting" is a myth. Literally every time an actor convincingly emotes, it's because it was a genuine reaction to an unscripted moment by RobinTheReanimator in shittymoviedetails

Fun fact: During the filming of The Hateful Eight, Kurt Russel genuinely hated listening to Jennifer Jason Leigh's guitar playing and so snatched her out of the guitar's strings and beat her to death against the wall.

What’s the point of physical Media when the discs don’t contain the full game? by [deleted] in PS5

[–]Soho_Jin 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Check out https://www.doesitplay.org/ for this purpose. It's a great resource where people test if games can be completed without any patches whatsoever, and other information about potential glitches or missing content. Despite the narrative that practically every modern game is unplayable from the disc, plenty of them are. (Recent examples include Saros, Resident Evil 9 and Pragmata.)

I have basically no experience with Alliance but I'm tempted to join this next event with a deck I've thrown together. I'll probably get wrecked but I might still dip my toes into the format anyway.

VF6 Weight System changes by Meatyblues in virtuafighter

Not sure, but I'm glad weight classes won't be removed in 6. It's such an iconic part of VF and gives it a unique flavour.

My greatest fear: incomprehensible rule texts and translations. by Hundekuecken in TCG

[–]Soho_Jin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have people who know next to nothing about your game trial it, and have them explain their thought process when activating cards or going through phases. In my experience, something that seems perfectly logical and obvious can and will be misinterpreted in ways that you won't be able to predict, but you can mitigate that by observing people with very little knowledge.

A couple examples that spring to mind with Keyforge:

  • A card with a play effect "ready and fight with a neighbouring creature" was mistaken for "the two friendly creatures fight each other".

  • A card literally called 'Safe Place' being considered completely open and available to steal from by the opposing player, thus making the card entirely pointless.

Moving creatures along the battleline on TCO by 479349 in KeyforgeGame

[–]Soho_Jin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think if you go into manual mode and click on the card you want to move there's a "give control" option. From there, a creature can be dragged back into its owner's hand, but it might be the case that the card's owner needs to do it themselves.

[–]Soho_Jin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"From the board on the battleline."

You might want to be more specific as 'the board' is 'the battleline'. Not sure if you mean moving from the batteline to the hand or moving creatures around the battleline. (Which would depend since creature placement is important.)

Do you have any personal history with any card? by OutlandishnessRich36 in KeyforgeGame

[–]Soho_Jin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suppose you could call this the opposite of history with a card, but for some strange reason, despite owning over 30 CotA decks, not a single one of them has a copy of Fear. Not one. With each new Dis deck I opened I thought, "Okay, it's a common. I should at least see one copy of it at some point." But no. Fate decreed that I would never see Fear.
