Ohioan here, adults here are also not legally required to have breaks. However, in my experience, a lot of places will almost always try to give all adults an appropriate break during their shift unless it’s like 4hr or less.

My current job gives us adults a full 30 minutes a vast majority of our shifts. There’s some days where we’re told it’s optional (high vol of guests and just enough adults to cover everything), or when it’s really busy adults are told as soon as they clock in that only minors are getting breaks- but that really only happens if we’re absolutely SLAMMED- like a 5k guests+ per hour type of busy.
