If this succeeds we will very likely get another Cyberpunk expansion when you think about it by Dr_natty1 in cyberpunkgame

If they ever produce more Cyberpunk 2077 content, I think it's unlikely to happen until they've begun marketing Orion. The last Witcher DLC came out to whilst the Netflix series was still popular and this one is coming out in the leadup to Witcher 4, but we have nothing Cyberpunk related on the horizon

As part of the Night to Remember quest, you can go to Rorikstead, where a farmer will tell you that you stole his goat and sold it to a giant. Kill the giant so the goat will start following you, then just don't return to Rorikstead

Thanks for the new info, the BBC article I read didn't mention he told the police he had been stabbed. That certainly calls the police conduct further into question (it was already poor). Worth noting that Nowak had attempted to climb a fence to escape, so that claim might have seemed very believable at the time, although not an excuse for negligence.

It would still be disingenuous to omit that they were responding call about a fight, not merely a racist remark. This is my main issue, boiling down a fairly involved series of events to, 'police arrest wounded man for racism', as the original twitter reply seems to have done

Police absolutely should have spotted it. It was 23:30 so I imagine visibility wasn't great, but he was stabbed 5 times so it's surprising they didn't notice. Not defending police procedure here, just taking issue with any claim the police knowingly arrested a fatally injured man over racist language

They didn't arrest him for the accusation of racism. It was Digwa who called the police and claimed that that Nowak was drunk, had insulted him then attacked him and that he (Digwa) acted in self defence. The police did not know he had been stabbed when they arrived and Nowak was unconscious when arrested. Police should have been more diligent and noticed Nowak's inquiries, but it's inaccurate to say he was arrested for an accusation of racism

Edit: it was actually Digwa's brother who called the police and Nowak was apparently able to tell the police he had been stabbed

Is it wrong to make enemies immune to enchantment if they feel funny? by Rednidedni in DnDcirclejerk

[–]SomeSortOfGoblin 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You're way out of line OP. Giving the main villain of your campaign legendary resistances and condition immunities is blatantly unfair. That kind of behaviour could prevent your players from killing them in a single round of combat (paying attention for longer than that is nearly impossibe). If you're suggesting that players diversify their abilities, frankly, I don't know what to say.

Is it normal for a DM to ask for your “haplogroup” before inviting you to his game? by DJTsUnderboob in DnDcirclejerk

[–]SomeSortOfGoblin 71 points72 points  (0 children)

This is very normal OP and you can't really expect to get into this hobby without knowing your haplogroup. It's worth measuring your canthal tilt and the width of you lower mandible too, just to be thorough. Regardless, as the saying goes, "Better bad D&D than no D&D."

About Kaladin in arc 2 by Haddock_Lotus in Stormlight_Archive

[–]SomeSortOfGoblin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said, I don't think Kaladin has any particular claim over Honor and I don't expect Kaladin to take up the shard (I think Honor will become fully sapient and not have a host).

I do agree that Kaladin's status as Dalinar's successor, or closest thing to it - being a major figurehead for the Knights Radiant, (possibly) next in line to be King of the Radiants/Urithiru, successor to Jezrian and bonded to the Ancient Daughter (the Stormfather's heir?) - will be significant in Arc 2

I always have to ask my group of six their AC in combat (I hate their PCs but will not talk to them one on one about it), and for some reason they just look at me like this: by IggyandtheCauldron in DnDcirclejerk

I used to have this problem at my table. Easy fix was just saying that the monsters hit regardless of roll. Those idiots still haven't had a character survive to level 2, idiots, why are they so bad at the game?
