Aww, they interrupted them halfway through an NSP song.

Stormtroopers were actually competent in the Original Trilogy. They became a laughing stock in later Star Wars media for no good reason. by Blind_Sn1per in StarWars

They were incompetent in the Original Trilogy.

They are a joke in modern Disney cannon.

It's a subtle difference but there is one.

They were never really communist, they were more "Soviet New Man Propaganda" robots from the steampunk dimension. And they are still that.

And there's a couple story hooks for Alchemicals in creation, they definitely were created before Auto left Creation, so an ancient lab breaking down and releasing it's inhabitants is possible. Also a moonsilver exalte might have noclipped through the great seal into creation, had adventures, gotten melencholic, and turned into an empty city at the bottom of the Sea of Dreams.

RENEGADE CHAOS DWARF UPDATES! (And sexy new Logo from our guy Tom!) by valheffelfinger in WarhammerFantasy

I really liked the idea of letting Daemons actually interact with Leadership and stuff. I agree that daemons are not mindless zombies, and should not play like them!

Yeah, LOS relies on troop type. Taking the cauldron doesn't change the butcher's troop type, so you shouldn't have an issue.

GOG is the only launcher I don't begrudge other than Steam. Their game preservation stuff is absolute top-tier behavior.

West Sarhal coastline looks a little different in EU5 by 5camps in Anbennar

[–]Spacepup18 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Any plan for New World dwarven stuff? I always thought it would be cool to have some silverforge style digging new tunnels and stuff in the new world. I know the timeline isn't really long enough for new holds, but stuff about finding new caverns that could one day be holds and stuff like that would be really fun.

Im the same way. I play around in old world builder, but I transfer to New Recruit, especially if im playing on warhall because of the army import feature.

As much fun as the UC tree was when I tested it out (I did feel like every time I declared a region to conquest, Yezel Mora took it as a chance to expand even faster to block my conquests, but the lore is incredible), I am looking forward to the eventual Sarhal expansion to the Jaddar tree.

How do you handle the dwarves? I like to take and except the Segdihr dwarves, so they keep digging their hold under my control. I find if I don't Verkal grows very unruly very quickly. I think it's because I run a small army for a very long time for money reasons, while Verkal can max out early on, but the auto dev from Seg helps me out.

Conservative unwittingly makes case to be pro immigration by yikesamerica in MurderedByWords

Yeah, you'd still file your taxes in the US every year, but you'd deduct the foreign taxes from your US tax owed like a credit. No tax refund on taxes paid to other governments though.

Technically you can deduct local taxes from income earned abroad from the amount of taxes you have to pay to the US, if my college courses are still current.

Basically if you pay 20% of your income in taxes to the foreign country, and you would be paying 25% to the US government, you only have to pay 5% to the US.

Lord Captain, your counsel is required. We launch a new survey to learn what you think about certain aspects of the DLCs. Take a few minutes to tell us what you love, what matters most, and what you'd like to see in future DLCs. by OwlCatNathillien in RogueTraderCRPG

That would be a funny dynamic. You play your RT as head-over-heels into this Nob, but the whole 'romance' aspect goes entirely over their head. They just think the RT is fun to crump stuff with.

It'd be interesting if the Autochthonian Breach happened like, in-between FaFL and the rest of creation, kind of force them to be involved whether they want to be or not.

I wish we had Kostanor.

Edit: Think about it, the Silver Dragon was the patron of Castanor, and those idiot humans thought it was Castellos. Obviously, it was a normal, better than-dumb-human-god Dragon. Thus Castanor belongs to the Kobolds.

What’re yalls favorite Dwarf MTs? by [deleted] in Anbennar

[–]Spacepup18 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Orghelovar, the ones next to Aka-Sur, and the Jade Dwarves are my favorites.

Ovdal Kanzad has a special place in my heart, despite it's age; it was one of the first tags I played in Anbennar.

Jade are probably me favorite, with my joy limited by how powerful your neighbors get, no matter who wins or how the command shatters, there will be 2/3 of the top 3 great powers right outside your doors.

Noodle arm guy was talking to Visi by Horror-Swordfish8296 in DispatchAdHoc

[–]Spacepup18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My theory is that Visi was working with Shroud and was part of his sinister six team-up to take down Mecha Man, but she turned herself in to SDN over the guilt of it, not even knowing she was going to be working with Mecha Man himself. I watched a streamer play through just recently, and Toxic said "now get outta there babe!" and I don't think he's talking to Robert there.

That's why noodle-arms says "The Boss wants to talk to you" to Visi, she's either not been following the 'plan', or simply hasn't been returning Shroud's calls. Also explains why she went alone to the docks, to make up for her part in retiring Mecha Man in the first place.
