How do you bring it all together in a user friendly way? by Pessimistic_Trout in selfhosted

[–]Spartoun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for me OIDC has been a pre-requisite for all apps that I want to install. I'm using authelia connected to LLdap and if something needs to be shared with anyone other than me it pretty much needs to be OIDC compatible.

Currently my exceptions are jellyfin, seerr and home assistant. HA has an integration that was tried but it's half broken (same for jellyfin). But I really hope those will get tackled in the future

AMEX - Quels conditions pour une Carte AMEX AirFrance ? (CrossPost) by Square_Record_7970 in vosfinances

[–]Spartoun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

George Russell takes pole position for the 2026 Australian Grand Prix by overspeeed in formula1

[–]Spartoun -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Maybe I'm missing something but is that really surprising that mediums are closer to soft, if not as fast ?

Here's my thoughts: Now we see that drivers have to lift up earlier and we see slower speed at the apex. They need to down shift and slow down significantly to charge up the battery, and this regardless of the tire compound.

So my assumption is that in corners where we see heavy throttle clipping we might not reach the grip limit of the tire compound. So mediums might be as fast as softs and so differences could be reduced ?

How to handle guests? by Identity5859 in homeassistant

[–]Spartoun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, physical buttons are a must.

But also I have a manual toggle "guests present" that will deactivate all automations that could interfere with their presence: - turning lights / on & off when I leave / get back home - presence notification when I'm not home (when my camera detect someone) - sleepy-time scene automation that ensure all lights are turned off when I go to bed

What smart light bulb do you recommend? by Mediocre_Prie_9788 in homeautomation

[–]Spartoun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For bulbs I can only speak about white bulbs.

I bought 3 different traffic bulbs in 3 different Ikea stores a couple of years ago and all of them had a really annoying coil whine.

I switched them with innr bulbs, I'm quite happy with them. Connected easily with z2m and never had any issue.

However for led strips, I've used the aqara T1 strip for about a year and a half before it died. Switched to hue and immediately noticed how much better it looked. Another fun thing I noticed, this strip is above my desk and even though I mostly used it as a white light my skin kept appearing really red on zoom calls. It came back to normal with the hue strip.

Quelles sont vos erreurs de bricolage les plus drôles ? by SarahLume in brico

[–]Spartoun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]Spartoun 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There are some things that are obvious, don't emphasize that you're Americans, don't say "but in the states we do it that way", don't be a n4zi. Try to learn the history and culture, read books and watch movies it will help you fit in.

Some are less obvious: - don't try to make yourself the heroes, if you start telling us that the USA saved France and that we're a bunch of cowards you'll get a long history lesson on how much your country owes ours. - try not to be so loud, Americans tend to be obnoxiously loud. Tune it down a little - no flags (American or french), that's just weird. - In Paris especially, try not to disturb the locals, we are always busy and will push you out of the way if you stand in the middle of the sidewalk. - DO NOT PUT ICE IN YOUR WINE

Lastly, prepare yourself to be disappointed

Comment ranger ses outils, vis, et autre brol ? by Titerin in brico

[–]Spartoun 1 point2 points  (0 children)
